It’s this hot meatball’s Birthday today, and I’d just like to say how happy I am that I get to spend all my time with @mccarkath and our lovely children. It brings me nothing but warmth when I make her coffee in the mornings, bring her water, and trade jabs with her any chance I get.

She makes the world a brighter (and more sarcastic) place, and our kids are so lucky to have her as their mom.

Happy Mother’s Day to my lovely wifey. You’re an amazing parent, partner, friend, and athlete. I can’t imagine our life or our children being as successful without your influence. You’re a constant reminder of what being an amazing and beautiful looks like in daily life, and I hope our children grow up working towards your example.

Week 4 and 5:

You know I think I may be approaching this all wrong? How am I expected to post beautiful photos of me? I’m not a photographer. I’m a numbers guy. I do numbers.

I think I’m just gonna not worry about me and post what I’ve got of the rest of the family. Hell I might even sneak an unapproved shot of @mccarkath from time to time. She doesn’t control me! So yeah stay tuned. It’s gonna be electric. by @philrchurch

Week 3 and I’m little late on the post, but it’s hard to focus on anything other than the shit going on in Minneapolis (and if you’re not aware of what’s happening in the US, I implore you to read any type of news, it’s heartbreaking.)

At any rate, the first real freeze in Michigan brings sledding, shoveling, costume contests, tears (lol), and frozen beards. Obviously I’m still working on my photos, cause what is that? Like get a grip Church. The kids are working really hard on their wrestling careers, as evidenced by that sick headlock he’s got on Kath.

Hold your loved ones close, advocate for those that can’t, and hopefully we all can find a way through the next three years that we’ve got in store. Or maybe we all ride this into hell, honestly feels like a toss up. by @philrchurch

Week two of this challenge and we’re already off to a rough start for Ole Philthy. Turns out on our little outing for dinner nobody thought to mention “Now Phil, I’m not trying to tell you how to do your job, but your hair…like what’s going on with that? Is it on purpose?” Unreal.

Anyways as per usual Kath looks cute, Weston did some acro-yoga with Kath, so they’re keeping it tight. And autumn is adorable, obviously. Two weeks down, 50 to go eh? Anyways I’ll get em, the kids can’t stay cute for long…oh also I turned 34 this week, so I’m hoping I start aging like fine wine soon (fingers crossed for those silver temples!) by @philrchurch

My darling Autumn is 15 months old today 💗🥹 She’s sooo close to walking, loves all kinds of foods, is incredibly curious and tenacious, and wants to do all the things her big brother is doing. We love her sweet two-tooth smile and can’t wait for more of her personality to shine ✨

Its also her last day in the infant classroom. We adore her teachers and cannot thank them enough for the care and love they’ve given her all year long 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 @milestones_kids by @philrchurch

As my New Year’s resolution this year, I’m going to strive to fill my page with extremely photogenic pictures of Kath and I and extremely non-photogenic pictures of my children. I will be limited to the recent photos in my camera roll, but by the end of the year, I expect to be an Instagram model and my children to hate me. So basically, the modern ideal of a parent.

There will be stumbles on this journey, I understand nobody’s perfect. But I think we’ll all grow as people. Rules will be created and then broken, relationships tested, but not unlike the common house cat, I will also struggle to care.

ANNOUNCEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT! It’s THIS hot momma’s birthday today! And I would just like to say how happy I am to spend every day with this ray of light.

No matter how much sleep we don’t get, how much coffee I forget to make, or how many times I may or may not forget to take out the trash, she seems to still have the patience for myself and our lovely children. I am so happy to be around for another birthday with you @mccarkath and I’m excited for all of our adventures to come!! Also I threw in a couple of oldies but goodies, cause can we just talk about how cute Kath has always been and continues to be?! Get REAL!
