It's been a week since the car sold. Honestly, I don't miss it and that's what has truly given me closure on my decision to move on. There was a lot of frustrations in the background that a lot of you don't know about but for the ones really close to me, you know. You know the time, money and energy I was expending and getting no where. The last probably two years, I was throwing money at the car hoping I would fall back in love with it and that just wasn't the right move. The valuable lesson learned here is, don't continue to throw money at a car you don't enjoy thinking you can make it into something you'll enjoy.

For the better part of the last 3-4 years I would go to car shows longing to own a C7 Z06 or 6th gen ZL1, which lead to a hemorrhaging of interest for modern BMWs. So, after a tumultuous Spring of 2026 with chasing down issues on this car, I decided to move on. I sold this car in perfect working condition and cut my loses. The sunk cost fallacy kept me in this car longer than it should have. Don't make the same mistakes I did.
