This week, meet Sophie! She is a double major, majoring in business administration and political science and from Brandon, MS!

Here is her #WhyMu
“I chose Phi Mu because of the connection I felt being in the house around my sisters. I immediately felt so welcomed, and everyone was so kind and personable I knew it was where I wanted to be. #SISTERSPOTLIGHT 👭💙
This week, we are proud to spotlight Emily and her dedication to Breakthrough T1D, an organization working to raise awareness, fund research, and find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. With her sister living with T1D, this cause holds a special place in Emily’s heart. We are so proud of Emily for turning something so personal into an opportunity to make a difference, and we are grateful for the chance to support her and her family along the way!

“If you know me, you know how much I love my sister; she is truly my best friend! Organizing this walk for her was so rewarding, as I know how much this organization means to her and my whole family. That is why I am so appreciative of all my Phi Mu sisters that showed up and supported our walk. My sisters continously go out their way to show me they care, sharing that love with someone they have never even met. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by people who don’t just want the best for me, but also the best for my family and the people I care about. Thank you to Phi Mu🩷”
