“My “why Phi Mu” has honestly been my whole experience, starting off with my first preference ceremony where I got to meet my Phi Director Phoebe. She explained why she loved Phi Mu, the friends she made, and how the sisterhood was such a welcoming space for her.

After meeting Phoebe and spending more time in Phi Mu, I knew that this sorority would always hold a special place in my heart. Now, as a senior, I have an amazing pham, connections across the sorority, and I now serve as the Phi Director for our lovely PC ’26 and COBs!

Serving on Phi Mu’s executive board has been such a privilege, I have been able to connect with new members, make them feel welcome in the sorority, and hopefully give them their own “why Phi Mu” moments. So, I honestly have a few “why Phi Mus”, my pham, my friends, and the opportunity to help new members create their own meaningful moments and find their forever friends!” by @phimutulane

WHY PHI MU WEDNESDAY with this lovely big little duo: Jordyn and Grace!! 👯‍♀️💌

JORDYN (PC ‘25):

Grace and I met her first semester but it wasn’t until recruitment that we really found our way back to each other, and I’m so thankful we did. From our very first big/little date everything felt so easy, and I remember leaving knowing there was no one else I could picture as my little. Since then she has become so much more than that. She’s become one of my best friends and such an important part of my life. I will always admire her drive, her dedication to her goals, and the way she somehow still makes the people she loves feel like a priority. She is always there to ask about my day, listen to what’s going on in my life, celebrate successes with me, and support me through life. Now I’m lucky to say that we’re roommates and I feel especially lucky I get to have my best friend right there for all the big moments and all the tiny everyday ones too. Grace represents Phi Mu to me because she truly lives out the values of love, honor, and truth in the way she treats people. She is loyal, kind, inclusive, supportive, and has such a big heart. Phi Mu made her my little but I could not be more thankful that Phi Mu also gave me my best friend. 💗

GRACE (PC ‘26):

When I turned around during big little reveal and saw Jordyn and the rest of my Pham behind me, I knew I was truly home. Jordyn and I’s big little date consisted of tanning, talking about our deep love for pickles, and going on a run around Audubon Park. It was both of our last dates, and I knew immediately afterwards that I had found my big. She is the kindest and most compassionate big I could ask for and she represents everything that Phi Mu means to me. Jordyn is the type of person that comforts you when you’ve had a bad day, cheers for your accomplishments, and inspires you to be the best version of yourself every day. We are now basically inseparable. From suiting together, playing club soccer together, studying together, and working out together, we are basically conjoined at the hip. Words cannot describe how incredibly lucky I am to be by @phimutulane
