Hi, I’m Sandra - a proud founder and the creative soul behind PHIT’Cetera Sustainable Fashion. While some affectionately call me Sandbag, Monkey, or Tips (there’s a story behind that!), at the heart of it all, I’m someone who loves life, cherishes family, and believes fashion is more than just style - it’s about individuality, empowerment, and making a positive impact.

After earning my BCom from Saint Mary’s University in 1993, I stepped into the corporate world, but it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t the right “PHIT”. Craving purpose and fulfillment, I ventured into entrepreneurship, spending 14 years in industrial apparel. At 52, I found my true calling and opened PHIT’Cetera - a boutique built on sustainability, individuality, and the idea that every outfit can make a difference for both the wearer and the planet.

When I’m not curating collections or brainstorming fresh ideas, I’m a wife, a proud step-mom to two amazing young men, and a devoted cat mom to my fur babies, Thelma and Louise. You might also catch me attempting my signature (and questionable) dance moves, experimenting in the kitchen, or embarking on a new travel adventure with my husband.

I’m proof that it’s never too late to pivot your path, chase your dreams, and create something meaningful. PHIT’Cetera is my passion project turned purpose, and I’m here to help you express your unique style, feel confident, and make choices that benefit both you and the planet. Whether you’re looking for fashion inspiration, a confidence boost, or just a fun chat, I can’t wait to connect with you!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

After months of planning, with Plan A falling through… moving on to Plans B, C & D and somehow finding our way back to Plan A again - we can finally share something incredibly exciting with you…

✨ PHIT’CETERA IS MOVING ✨

Over the past five years, this little boutique has become so much more than a store. It has become a place filled with conversation, connection, laughter, community, and some truly wonderful people. We have met so many incredible women within these walls, and we are endlessly grateful to every single person who has walked through our doors, supported us, shopped local with us, attended our events, or simply popped in for a chat.

And now… it’s time for the next exciting chapter!

We’ve officially outgrown our current space and found something absolutely incredible that we CAN’T WAIT to share with you. While we’re not quite ready to reveal the new location just yet… trust us when we say we think you’re going to love it.

A few important things to keep you in the loop: 🗞 Our last day at our current location will be Tuesday, June 23rd 🗞 We are NOT closing - so there will not be a big blowout sale 🗞 Gift cards will continue to work at our new location (but feel free to use them now 😉) 🗞 You’ll still be able to shop with us online over the summer 🗞 We’re looking into a few fun summer pop-ups 🗞 Private in-home shopping parties will still be available 🗞 We’re planning to open our beautiful new space in the Fall

This move allows us to dream even bigger about the future of Phit’Cetera - especially when it comes to creating even more community events and experiences for all of you.

Please follow along on social media over the coming weeks as we share updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and eventually… the big reveal.

We’re thrilled to finally share the location of the next chapter of Phit’Cetera!

Coming Early 2027

After months of planning, dreaming, and keeping this exciting secret, we can finally say it out loud... we’re staying close to home.

From the very beginning, this community has embraced us, supported us, shopped local with us, attended our events, and helped make Phit’Cetera so much more than a boutique. That’s why it was so important to find a new home that felt like us - somewhere rooted in community, connection, and supporting local.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to our beautiful new space at Bloomsbury Place!

In the meantime, we’ll be staying connected through online shopping, pop-up boutiques, private shopping events, and plenty of behind-the-scenes peeks as we prepare for opening day.

Thank you for believing in us over the past five years and for continuing to come along for the ride. We truly can’t wait to open those doors and welcome you into the next chapter of Phit’Cetera.

We couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for this week’s Style Drop! After our recent pop-up at the beautiful Bedford Basin Yacht Club, we stuck around for a little fun on the water. A big thank you to Pam for letting us take over her boat for a bit!

We’ve been having so much fun taking Phit’Cetera on the road this summer, and our next stop is the beautiful Glen Arbour Golf Club!

The boutique may be packed away for the summer... but the fun certainly isn't!

This summer, Phit'Cetera is a little more mobile than usual, which means you never know where we'll pop up next.

We're busy hanging out in our storage unit - unpacking, repacking, enjoying a few laughs, and loading up for another round of pop-up shops, bringing your favourite styles to various locations in HRM while we get ready for our beautiful new home this fall.
