Thank you Dear Phlight for 20 Years…
Through courage, prayer & faith, God has truly shaped this place. Like He once said’ “Let there be Light”, He also spoke into existence, “Let there be Phlight”. Here is where we gather to share in Life’s moments, to feel appreciated, to feel loved. A place where we are nourished and encouraged.
Phlight is forever your place with an open door ready to serve. A place with thoughtful & embracing food, an outpouring of wine and a warm and ever growing heart.
Thank you friends & family for lending your time and your taste buds! Thank you for all the years of memories & merriment. Thank you 🤍✨🙏🏽

To Sara and the Cortez Family, Isaac is loved by his beautiful family, friends and his community. Celebrating his life at Phlight was warm, honorable and ever so memorable. Happy Birthday Isaac✨ by @phlightwhittier

I do not know what it says about me when I got emotional seeing Phlight’s new location on Greenleaf but I do know this: I love it here.

The food. The ambiance. The open kitchen. The specials board with the crispy lentils we won’t stop eating.

My camera roll is filled with dozens of dates at their spot on Bright. Our wedding photos have their spread sprawled effortlessly on our long tables at the Artisan Building rooftop patio.

Their food is beautifully familiar. Always good, always celebratory for us.

We ate here for my 37th birthday and didn’t get a chance to rave about it in the moment because PPD threw a huge wrench in most things for a moment. Coming out of the fog and it feels good.

Anyway. This is your gentle but firm sign to go dine and indulge in a good meal at @phlightwhittier

It sort of feels like coming home to me. And you know what I love? So many of us feel the same and have a tender spot for this restaurant that keeps giving two decades later.

That is my love song for today. Love you, Phlight. by @phlightwhittier

Congratulations to our friends at Phlight on their new location!

It’s inspiring to watch a local family business grow and thrive after more than 20 years in the same building. Their new historic home on Greenleaf Avenue is absolutely beautiful and represents years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to their customers.

Best wishes to the entire Phlight family as they begin this exciting new chapter. The future looks bright!
