Through my window, I noticed shimmering of cold polished steel echoed by whistles - as if a troop of bandits arrived in town on horseback.

After already having spent 90km on my bike that day, the decision to chase down these guys didn't come easy, but I realized that comfort never told a half decent story

The mob welcomed me into their convoy. The noise invited everyone to their front yard as we rolled through the streets, blocking intersections for ritualistic chants as riders like snakes charmed the crowds

Afterward, I was welcomed into their home for hotdogs. The hunt was worth the prize🌭
Just like every dude there, Road Foundation left me feeling like I belong. Respect⚙️❤️

A beautiful collection of moments featuring these absolute animals on wheels🦅

There isn't another form of transport that feels as an extension of the body as fixed gear, so I feel stripped of more than just my bikes, but also my curiosity, connection and growth💮

For now my mode of transport has been limited to two trusty old crutches, after which I'll slowly upgrade to training wheels so i can shred with no fear of fallin🦴
