Bufón (@bufonnyc) is the highly anticipated second restaurant from the team behind West Village staple Demo. 🍸 Founded by Jacob Nass (@nasstyj), Ian Henderson-Charnow (@iandavidhc), Quang Nguyen (@pho_q), and Dina Fan (@dinafan), it brings the same understated sophistication fans love, now with an expanded menu built around market produce, fresh seafood, and large format chops. ✨ The standouts speak for themselves. 🥩 Think a perfect freezer martini, chilled clams in jeow som, and the signature slow-roasted picanha steak. If Demo won you over, this next chapter is one you will not want to miss. 🍽 Bufón (@bufon.nyc) 📍78 Rivington St, Lower East Side Subscribe to our free weekly newsletter for more hidden gems and exclusive discounts. A Celebration of Summertime Friday, August 22 – Sunday, August 24 SOLD OUT! We’re welcoming Chefs Quang “Q” Nguyen and Dina Fan of @demo.nyc for a two-night stay rooted in seasonal ingredients, expressive technique, and the joy of gathering. With backgrounds at places like Ma Pêche, Cosme, the Four Horsemen, and Racines, Q and Dina bring a thoughtful, ingredient-forward approach to cooking, elegant without being precious, deeply flavorful, and grounded in curiosity. Guests will gather for two communal dinners by the chefs, take part in a hands-on harvest workshop, and enjoy time to roam the land, rest, and connect. Farmhouse stays are now sold out, but we’ve opened up a limited number of Golden Hour Tickets, link in bio to book! by @pho_q

What an awesome experience it was to have the team @unapizzanapoletana invite the team from @demo.nyc for One Night at Una. @anthony_w_mangieri with his wizardry put our Lobster au Poivre on his beautiful dough last night and it was so delicious. We can’t thank you and your team enough for your hospitality and care for our friends and family as well as the pizza you put on for us. So flattered and honored to be invited to collaborate with you guys. And of course thanks to everyone that came out. by @pho_q

@demo.nyc 1 year anniversary pt. 2 by @pho_q
This is a belated appreciation post for the 1 year anniversary of @demo.nyc . I’m so grateful for the opportunity to lead the team at our little restaurant. I can’t thank @iandavidhc and @nasstyj enough for bringing me on board to the operation. The biggest thanks to @dinafan for being the driving force and stability in our kitchen and responsible for all the bangers on and off the menu. Obviously the list is massive to those who have come through @demo.nyc and lended us a helping hand, front and back of housem so hopefully I don’t miss any of you in the tags but, it goes without saying, I appreciate all of you and sorry if at any moment I wasn’t nice to you. Thank you @courtjazlyn for designing a beautiful space that people can’t stop complimenting us on and thank you both @alexhodorlee and @therealkylekarl for capturing our work through your brilliant photography. Most of all thank you to all of our loyal guests who continue to always surprise our team and I with your frequent and continued love and support. We wouldn’t/couldn’t be here without you! Cheers everyone, onward and upwards! by @pho_q
