“Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened” is a quote my dad likes to say. I could not be more happy and grateful for the coaches and teammates that I have had the past 8 years of my life. This team has given me friendships and memories that I will cherish forever. There are 4 girls that have been with me since the very beginning when we lost horribly, but we were the real winners because we had fun, and made it unforgettable. I’m so glad to see what we built and our journey to nationals. This last ride in Tennessee was the best I could’ve imagined. I’m so glad that I got to finish my last season as a co-captain with my girls Liv and T. I would like to thank Coach Amanda for everything you have done. You have believed in me, supported me, and stood by my side every step of the way. I want to thank you for pushing me to the best of my abilities and making me into the player I am today. You never fail to light up the room and your personality is something I’ll truly miss. I would also like to thank Coach Paul, who is my dad. You have never failed to take me to practice or any extra training opportunities you could find. You never fail to help me become the best version of myself on and off the field. I know you will no longer be my coach, but I also know that your support for me will never change. Now, I turn a page and enter a new chapter. I truly wish this team the very best, and I can’t wait to see what greatness you do. “Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again.” With all that said, the chapter of 99 ends. by @phoebe_glenn99

PHOEBE GLENN. FROM 30 YARDS OUT. 🚀⚽

Need we say more?

Phoebe Glenn wins the ball in the air and heads it to Maddie Soderberg, who lays it off to Talia. Anna Tripoli makes a dangerous run, collects from Talia, and threads a perfect ball through to Hayden, who beats the keeper for her second goal of the game. by @phoebe_glenn99

Such a beautiful build up. Phoebe, our outside back, drives down the line and finds her outside winger Leah. Leah connects centrally with Kinley Miller, who plays Talia under. Talia finishes it with a one touch shot on goal for the score. by @phoebe_glenn99

🔥 PLAYER INTRO: PHOEBE GLENN #99 🔥

Phoebe has been with us since the very beginning and continues to set the standard every time she steps on the field. An elite outside back who does it all. She defends. She delivers. She dominates.

➡️Set piece specialist. When it is a free kick you already know who is stepping up
➡️Absolute weapon on throw ins. Reaching the PK like it is nothing
➡️Defensive wall. If you try to knock her down you better be ready to get back up

She plays fearless. She plays relentless. She plays for the badge.

Phoebe Glenn is not just a defender
She is a game changer! by @phoebe_glenn99

Another great one from Jeff Cup! Phoebe Glenn stepped up on a free kick from 20 yards out and drove a low shot into the corner. The keeper made the save, but the rebound slipped off her hands and Olivia Chipriano was right there to finish it and bury it in the back of the net. by @phoebe_glenn99
