The rivalry heats up! Saturday’s Throwdown at John Cain Arena promises to be one of the biggest yet. Melbourne United sit top of the ladder, but the South East Melbourne Phoenix are flying high after their first-ever five-game win streak.

Rising star Owen Foxwell, playing in his 11th Throwdown, knows what’s at stake: “It’ll definitely be the biggest Throwdown I’ve been involved in… we’re fired up to prove ourselves against a team that’s been the benchmark.”

With career-best numbers and a growing leadership role, Foxwell and the Phoenix squad are ready to show what they’re capable of. Don’t miss the 30th edition of this epic clash—8pm AEDT, live on ESPN. 🏀 by @phoenix.fanatics

Last week, Chaudhari took to X (formerly Twitter) to take a jab at United captain Chris Goulding ahead of his matchup with the Adelaide 36ers and Bryce Cotton, posting: “Which of these great players is gonna get more calls? The Flopper (Goulding) or Bryce?

“My money is still on Bryce getting to the line more, even though Flopper has home cookin’ for this one and gets the award for best manufacturer of bullsh*t calls....can’t wait. by @phoenix.fanatics
