Everyone has a place. And you'll know when you're in it because you feel joyful regularly. Not all the time. That's not sustainable. But day to day life should be filled with moments where you feel joyful and happy to be doing the things you're doing. That's how you know that you've aligned your lifestyle with your type. by @phoenix_raederle

Holding the story means caring about the narrative of the lives of the people you are close to. It means you remember that they are currently going through a painful situation, or a joyful one. You remember to celebrate with them. If you have trouble remembering things, you set an alarm to remind yourself to check in on them tomorrow. If you know that they care a lot about holidays or anniversaries, then you put it on your calendar. If it's hard for you to figure out what an appropriate gift is but you know that gifts are important to them, you might ask another friend for help and then set reminders as needed to show up for them. True friendship takes a little bit of work but it's really worth it. True friendship also means reciprocity. You don't have to keep showing up for people who never show up for you. You don't have to hold the story of people who don't hold yours. #friendship #relationships #holdthestory #remember #love by @phoenix_raederle
