TUTORIAL: Magnetic polish in three different styles 💅

Watch through to see how I magnetize in the cat eye (starts at 3s), velvet (starts at 21s), and French tip/gradient (starts at 43s) styles using a magnetic wand. For any magnetic style, make sure to finish off with a quick dry top coat and hold the magnet in place for 1-2 minutes to seal in the effect!

The most vibrant blue magnetic cat eye 💙

This is one of the times when my “just one more coat” works against me 😅 the base ended up looking almost black after three coats and I’m regretting not leaving it at two coats to keep more of the oxblood colour 🩸

Sunshine on the nails ☀️

I pull out this magnetic whenever I’m craving sunshine because it’s such a bright and happy golden yellow! Wearing it in the velvet style brings out the gold from the magnetic pigment even more and feels like I’m standing in a sunbeam 😌

A sunflower duo 🌻

This pairing had me feeling so warm and cozy with the golden sunshine yellow of Cos Sunshine and rich, chocolatey brown from Dark Horse! It looked like I had happy little sunflowers on my nails and it was making me miss the warm summer days 😅

A wintery and magical pairing 🩵

I’m loving the icy shiftiness in Moon Crisis Magic and how the blue magnetic pigment matches with the pops of blue flakies in Have the Lambs Stopped Screaming? for all the wintery vibes! I may not be ready for the cold weather, but I’m fully ready for all the winter manis ❄️

All the sparkly goodness 🤩

Spider Daedra is absolutely packed with reflective glitters and almost looks like sparkly earth with the dark brown base 🤎✨I put a bit of thinner in my bottle before applying, since reflective glitter polishes tend to run on the thicker side, and it applied nice and even with full opacity in 2-3 coats

Are you ready for Halloween? 👻

This was one of those manis that had me ooo-ing and ahh-ing while taking photos because these polishes were so bold and dramatic together! The bright and vampy reds of Pandemonium and The Arsonist next to the dark, sparkly Spider Daedra is making me think of harlequin nails and has me fully in the mood for Halloween 🖤❤️

A vibrant, pink candy holo 💖

Jam Session makes me think of Jolly Rancher candies with how vibrant the mix of the coral base and pink shimmer is together! The crushed holo formula gives such an elegant holo sparkle and applies nice and smooth for full opacity in the 2-3 coats 🤩

What’s your favourite Halloween candy?

A Halloween candy pairing 🤤

It’s time for another round of Random Holo Tuesday and this month’s feature polish was Jam Session! It’s such a vibrant pink that I wanted to pair it with another bold holographic and Violet Nightmares came to mind with its delicious purple base colour💖💜

Seeing them together makes me think of tropical Skittles and has me feeling ready for all the Halloween candy!

Thank you to @mannnina19 @nailartmom and @holo.enthusiast for hosting ☺️

The most creamy green polish 💚

Matcha Maker is such a satisfying green creme and it still makes me sad it was retired! It has a great formula to work with and I feel like I could have left it at one coat and still has full opacity 🤩

A very happy birthday to @nails_by_stine 🥳🎉

You always create such beautiful nail art manis that I put my nail art skills to the test for a birthday mani to celebrate! You’re such a welcoming, lovely person and it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you and be inspired by all of your nail art creations! I hope you have a really wonderful day filled with snuggles from Nia 🐈‍⬛❤️

As a side note, I think you might have gotten me hooked on smoosh manis because it was so fun to create!

Thank you to @_nailgems_ and @tinkerbell1970s for hosting ☺️
