✨ The Red Thread of Protection

This is a collective protection ritual, not a spell meant to harm anyone.

We’ll be speaking the same words together while visualizing a red thread of connection extending from each of us—linking us to one another and outward across the country.

As those threads connect, we imagine them forming a web of protection—a symbol of care, safety, and solidarity for people who are feeling targeted, afraid, or unseen right now.

You don’t need to believe in magic to participate.
You don’t need to know anything about witchcraft.
You simply need to be willing to hold love, hope, and protection in your heart.

This ritual is about choosing compassion over fear, presence over silence, and being the light we want to see in the world.

You’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels safe for you—speaking aloud, whispering, listening, or simply holding the intention quietly.

There is no right or wrong way to do this. Your presence alone is enough.

🌾 So… What is Mabon?

Mabon is the Autumn Equinox, usually celebrated around September 21–23.

It marks a sacred point of balance, when day and night are equal before we move into the darker half of the year.

Mabon is the second harvest festival of the Wheel of the Year (between Lughnasadh and Samhain).

It’s a time to:
• Celebrate abundance and gratitude 🌻
• Honor balance in all things ⚖️
• Prepare for the descent into shadow and introspection

✨ Mabon is both celebration and surrender - rejoicing in the fruits of our labor while preparing to step into the deep wisdom of the dark months ahead. 🌙🍷🌾

We gather in gratitude for all we have won.
Seeds we have sown now ripen and bear,

Now that we are past the 4th of July,
It means we are officially in Spooky Season.
Spooky Season runs July 5th to October 31st.
Those are the rules.

That means Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, the Queen of Halloween, is thawing!

(Mariah doesn’t get to thaw for Christmas till Halloween is done.)

As we celebrate the Flower Moon this weekend, here are some lessons it teaches:

It’s all about letting go of disappointments and remembering that rejection is protection.
In other words, when things don’t work out the way we want them to, we’re being directed to something better for our soul’s growth.

A dear friend of mine said that this first week of Spring is a time to focus on love… specifically self-love.

Because the relationship you have with yourself will be the most important one you have. Ever.

She provided us with these words of affirmation to claim and an incantation to inspire this self-love.
