so.

hearing this film had primarily practical effects, I immediately knew I was going to fall in love, and upon seeing the work of James Ortiz (and the Rockateers), I was reminded how much I love puppetry, especially in film.

Little Shop of Horrors was one of my favourite films in high school because of how impressive Audrey Two was to me. I hope now, after PHM's success, we see more practical effects used in film (because let's face it, relying on CGI tends to come off as tacky.)

Immediately fell in love with this photo when I saw it and knew I wanted to draw it. I hope to give this to Ortiz in person when I meet him next month at @comiccon.connections!
