We had the chance to put the new @blackmagicnewsofficial Immersive Camera to the test — featuring dual 8K optics — in collaboration with the amazing team at @phoria.io @view_phoria .

Captured over the stunning waterfalls of South NSW, using our Heliguy Synergy system to achieve those perfectly straight, stable shots that this capture format demands.

This marks version 5 of our Cobra drone, purpose-built for long flight times and rock-solid stability.

Touching the Sky VR is now streaming on Meta Quest TV, and PHORIA are proud to have helped bring such a unique immersive adventure to life.

Directed by @jongriffithphotography, the film follows elite alpinists on a daring climb and paraglide descent through the Alps and the Karakoram Himalaya, blending real world adrenaline with cinematic world building, all captured in 8K stereoscopic 360.

Partnering with Jonathan, Meta, and @sequence_australia, PHORIA crafted the seamless transitions between live action footage and stylised CG environments, creating a dreamlike experience unlike anything seen before in VR filmmaking.

From technical workflows to visual design, we threw everything we had into amplifying the story and transforming an extraordinary expedition into something audiences can truly feel.

Touching The Sky VR is now available in the Meta Quest TV app, exclusively on Horizon OS headsets: Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro, and Quest 2.

Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2025 – Honouring the Next Generation

This week, we join in celebrating NAIDOC Week 2025 and its powerful theme: “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.” It marks 50 years of honouring Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience, and is a time to reflect on our shared journey and the future we’re shaping together.

This week also brings back memories of a defining moment for our team: launching Julaymba during NAIDOC Week last year. We were honoured to welcome Richard Burchill down from Queensland and to gather on Wurundjeri Country, where Uncle Colin Hunter offered a powerful Welcome to Country. The evening featured a meaningful panel conversation with Richard and Kirsty Burchill, whose reflections on culture, legacy, and storytelling continue to guide us. Kirsty (@kaybee_official_music) closed the night with a moving performance that left a lasting impact.

We're privileged to collaborate with the Burchill family, whose creativity and cultural leadership inspire us deeply. Richard’s work in storytelling has helped shape our practice as an experiential studio, while Kirsty’s artistry and voice embody the strength and vision of a new generation.

We remain committed to co-creating experiences that honour Country and deepen our connection to First Nations communities; with purpose, care, and respect. We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside the Burchill's and the Eastern Kuku Yalanji community, and to continue supporting the next generation of First Nations change-makers, artists, and storytellers, ensuring their voices are heard and their legacies celebrated.

If you’ve ever dreamt of exploring the world's wonders but reality hasn't quite lined up yet, you're going to love our latest venture, Yonder.

We’re really excited for this one as it brings together so many aspects of what we’re passionate about: sharing stories and creating experiences that connect people to place and foster a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

Yonder is a WebXR platform that opens a window to the world’s iconic landmarks, ancient wonders, and cultural treasures. It’s a virtual passport for curious minds that lets you explore amazing locations in true-to-life detail, and even learn a thing or two from the people who know them best.

For launch, we’ve partnered with @australianmuseum, The Australian Institute of Marine Science, @jabalbinaofficial, @cyark, and @ic0nem to bring you access to 6 sites: The Great Barrier Reef (Australia), The Bagan Temple Complex (Myanmar), The Gateway of India (India), Church of Saint Sophia (Macedonia), Pyramid of Menkaure (Egypt), and a site very close to our hearts, Tranquility Falls of the Daintree Rainforest (Australia).
