Shaktified birthday day out🐍🔱✨✨ For a long time I wanted to visit this ancient Shiva temple in Goa. A little known fact is that before the white washed Mediterranean style churches, Goa was a centre for Tantric worship and I feel Shiva very much alive here in these lands. The temple is set amongst lush greenery and houses a Shiva Lingam flanked on all sides by Nagas, the serpent protectors, representing kundalini, transformation and the cycle of life. Just before going into the temple I had been greeted by the most beautiful green vine snake, the energy was strong! I felt like i had arrived home🐍🔱✨🙏 Needless to say this temple visit was the perfect end to a perfect day✨✨✨ #priestesspath #tantra #shiva #goa #incredibleindia by @phosforescence

One of the things I love about India is that anything is possible💖💖💖 A popular phrase here is 'adjust a little bit'. Creating a space for things to work out in what is often chaos! This attitude of adjusting, gave space for me, a white girl from England to act and dance in the Indian film industry and it also gave space for @actorvijay to go from South Indian film star known for his dancing to become chief minister of Tamil Nadu at the same time. (Although now he has recently given up films to focus on his political career) Sharing some behind the scenes moments from shooting 'Jinganamani' for recently re-released Tamil Movie 'Jilla' • #hazelcrowney #actorvijay #Thalapathy #tamil by @phosforescence

I realised something the other day while exploring one of my local favourite places. (can anyone tell me where I am?!) That I love living in India! and it's because of the simple things.... There is a sweetness in the interactions with people here that you meet out and about, that is uniquely Indian. Indians have a great sense of humour and sense of play that really resonates with my soul. It's frequency that you can't find anywhere else! Side note- It is worth mentioning, this isn't an advertisement for anyone to move here!:) I'm showing some of what I love, but it is also not an easy place to live and for many life is very hard and I don't want to romanticise that.🙏 I am grateful for the love I receive in India and the way people have; in many ways taken me as their own. जय हिन्द 🙏🇮🇳 Ps- Apologies for my atrocious Hindi 🤪 I don't get much practice these days living in Goa! #incredibleindia #streetlife #travel #india #foreignerinindia taken in Goa, India by @phosforescence

STOP! What class?! 11c Who's your class teacher? Miss Poonawala...:) Ayeshas introductory scene in MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar (with a little behind-the-scenes story!)) Being a non-native Hindi speaker, I had to learn everyone's lines, not just my own, so I could follow all the cues. The result? Nobody could improvise around me! Not one word that was not in the script?!😅 Or I would be completely confused 🤪 20 years later, and you're still quoting this scene to me!😁💖 Who remembers this moment? After this everyone thought I just disappeared. I hadn't, I continued living in Mumbai for many years after its release and did quite a few more movies, but sadly not many people saw them.. This is me in the climax scene in 2007, Hindi Film, MP3 (Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar) Not being a star kid or even being Indian made things difficult. It definitely helps to have family and emotional support in an industry like this. I was a young English woman with a big Bollywood dream and I wasn't about to give up soon! Trying my best to navigate a cut throat industry in a foreign country. And not just any country... India.... #hazelcrowney #mystory #merapehlapehlapyaar #bollywood by @phosforescence

🪷Sri Shakti Mandala🪷 This has been a true labour of love and devotion🔱 The fruition to date of my journey through the Mahavidyas, the ten wisdom Goddesses of Classical Tantra, so beautifully shared by @sonam_vajrayogini in her 'Tantric Divine Feminine' immersions. 85 hours of painting, vanishing and embellishing and countless others receiving her transmission. The Shri Yantra in the centre is the visual representation of Shri Lalita Tripura Sundari here, the Queen of the three worlds and highest manifestation of the most resplendent of divine feminine energy. The mandalas I create are not merely pretty objects, they are powerful tools, bringing through divine codes, blessings and protection made with the upmost love, care and intention. It will now be making its journey to the powerful lands of Dharamshala to sit on Sonams altar and to be incorporated into her upcoming courses and pilgrimages beginning soon in the Himalayan mountains 🌞🔱🪷💖🏔️ Special thanks to @moshe_artjuna and @aswatibala for allowing me to shoot at this beautiful new addition in Mojigao Goq and Shashang Iyer for bringing my vision to life with your beautiful photography 🙏✨ Photography @sshashangg_iyer Location @mojigao Wisdom keeper of the Mahavidyas @sonam_vajrayogini Artist- Hazel @phosforescence @phosforescence_arts • #mandalaartist #shriyantra #lotus #divinefemine #shakti taken in Mojigao by @phosforescence

Though much of Goa's pre colonial past has sadly been erased, hidden deep within her hinterlands, signs of an ancient tantric past remain✨🔱🐍✨ Can anyone tell me who the tall dark figure at the end of the video is??? I plan to share more in the next episode 🖤🌚✨ Though we can't turn back the past we can learn from it, may we as humans do better in the future and to honour lives lost by not repeating the old paradigms of war and divide and conquer. 🌹Important side note- Though these are traditions I have a personal connection to, I don't deny or reject anyone else's route to God. What feels true to me as a woman walking the Goddess path is that all the paths are Shakti expressing herself, in a multitude of fractals ✨✨✨🌹 May all beings everywhere be happy, may all beings be free of suffering 🙏 Om Shakti, Jai Ma, Om Namah Shivaya, Amen, Shalom हरि ॐ तत् सत्🙏🌹✨ #classicaltantra #priestesspath #Shivaism #incredibleindia by @phosforescence

Shakti arrises in an infinite multitude of manifestations. Everything our senses perceive is a manifestation of this divine feminine energy. Often when thinking of Indian Goddesses the fierce ones such as Kali or Durga come to mind. Another side of shakti is beauty, play, softness, sensuality and allurement of the Lalitas and Lakshmis. These aspects are perhaps part of the feminine that have be shamed as manipulation and seduction. I am not talking about performative femininity that is often depicted on tv or social media, this is a femininity that oozes like nectar from the inside out.🍑🍯 Mastering all the aspects of the feminine brings wholness.💖🌻✨ With my beautiful teacher and guide of the sacred path of the Dasa Mahavidyas @sonam_vajrayogini and the students of the Kula 🪷✨🔱 #divinefemine #goddesspath #shaktatantra #kula #shaktirising by @phosforescence

You’d never guess it from watching this, but I was actually really nervous while shooting this song. One of the reasons was that the dance steps were being taught on the spot, and secondly, I was dancing next to Scarlett. (Fun fact, a girl from the same part of the Uk I had grown up in)) Unlike her, I hadn't been training from childhood. She’d been dancing since the age of three and was incredibly skilled whereas I only started taking dance classes in my twenties. What I did have on my side was natural rhythm, musicality, and a lot of heart 💖💖💖 Standing beside such amazing dancers definitely brought up my insecurities, but it also pushed me to rise to the occasion. Sometimes pressure doesn’t break you — sometimes it calls out a version of you that you didn’t even know was there!✨✨✨ @actorvijay #mystory #hazelcrowney #tollywood #bollywood #thalapathy by @phosforescence

Creating mandalas is a spiritual practice for me, it is an active meditation that requires deep concentration which really helps to centre and focus my somewhat adhd mind. I love the balance of both shiva and shakti that building a mandala requires. The repetition of the patterns in each ring being one of the masculine aspects, along with the symmetry and precision and then ultimately everything being contained within the circle. The feminine aspect is both the circle itself and the infinite possibilities and fluidity that can happen within the circle. It is a dance of repetition and possibilities. Flow and structure. Sharing some of the process in creating my Goddess of the sea Yemanaja mandala here🤍🐚🌊 • #mandalaartist #artistsofinstagram #activemeditation #yemanja taken in Goa, India by @phosforescence

❤️Yantras are symbolic, sacred geometric representations of divine cosmic energies. ❤️You can use them as an aid in meditation and have them present in your home, through which to receive blessings, protection and to deepen your connection to the particular energy they represent. ❤️I channeled this Durga Yantra during my Navaratri sadhana, guided by @sonam_vajrayogini as powerful active meditation. ❤️Creating art is such a passion of mine and revealing itself to be a big part of my dharma in this lifetime. ❤️I will soon begin to offer my work for sale. If you are interested to own a piece of sacred art, drop me a dm with your email to be the first to know when I begin to sell my work. With love, Hazel❤️🌹❤️ ❤️music credit 'Hey Ma' by @sariseramor #sacredgeometry #durgayantra #yantra #mandalaart #dotmandala #artistsofinstagram #activemeditation by @phosforescence
