Engagement photo shoot 💍🍂 Thank you Elena and John for allowing me the opportunity to bring your vision to fruition. It was really a privilege to showcase such a beautiful union between the two of you. by @photos.jtp
Go With the Flow • • • • • Adapting is so tough sometimes. Take things as they come :) #canoneosrebelt7 #canon #canonphotography #jellyfish by @photos.jtp

Reaching New Heights • • • • • Might be birdwatcher now 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk kinda liking the whole in-flight thing. Bunch of new things going on. Might mess around and take this photography thing a bit more seriously… #photography #birdwatching #redtailedhawk #bayareaphotographer #canonphotography #canoneos #canoneosrebelt7 #vulture by @photos.jtp

Still Tide Up • • • • • I am really trying to figure out this whole niche thing. I don’t really have any prominent ideas of what I want my subjects to be. I kinda just bring my camera out whenever something catches my eye or when a moment I see resonates with me in some way or another. Which is why I currently consider myself a hobby photographer. Rightfully so, I would say. If I want to up my game I feel like I do need to stick to a certain subject though. Whether that be landscapes, cityscapes, cars, plant life, wildlife, PEOPLE, I don’t know yet. Whatever I choose to “specialize” in, I want to be good at it. #canon #canonphotography #canoneosrebelt7 #ocean #photography #pier #dockfishing #dockside #sea #tidewater #amateurphotography #hobbyphotography by @photos.jtp
1.3 Seconds + 1/160 Second • • • • • Fun fact! Light reflected from the Moon’s surface takes approximately 1.3 seconds to reach earth. Speed of Light is 299,792,458m/s and the moon is roughly 384,400km away from Earth. Do some quick math and you get 1.3 seconds :). (The 1/160th second was the shutter speed I used to take this picture.) Took some trial and error (and a trip to a rooftop) to find the right settings to get the clarity and focus I wanted for this image, but I think so far, this is the best image I’ve ever captured of our cheesy celestial neighbor! #canonphotography #canon #canoneos #canoneosrebelt7 #amateurphotography #hobbyphotography #nonichephotographer #nightphotography #celestial #photography #moon #moonphotography by @photos.jtp
A Long Road Ahead • • • • • Just a lil something I had in the SD card. Figured I would practice my editing (which I’ve only done using an iPhone). Honestly it looks good to my eyes, but I would appreciate feedback :). The first one is edited, second iteration is monochromatic just cause, and the last one is the raw photo straight from the camera. Hope you like it! #canonphotography #canon #canoneosrebelt7 #landscapephotography #mountainranges #california #editedvsunedited #edited #unedited #photography #selftaughtphotographer by @photos.jtp
Audience of One • • • • • In our everyday lives, time passes us by in a blur of speed. We often don’t realize how fast our headspace fills up with the mumbo-jumbo of our workplaces, or how quickly we become preoccupied with the worries of our futures or reflections of the past. Sometimes, if we’re lucky, all that brain activity quiets for just a moment and allows an opportunity for us to be at peace. And what better to do with that peace than to spend it listening to a solo musician :D keep enjoying the little things y’all :) #amateurphotography #photography #streetphotography #streetmusician #streetmusic #beginnerphotographer #canon #canon_photos #canonphotography #canoneos #canoneosrebelt7 by @photos.jtp
Nocturnal • • • • • I’m having some difficulty finding the balance between my ISO, exposure and shutter speed settings at night. I just keep messing with them and taking pictures of the same subject/environment changing nothing but the settings, but it doesn’t feel like I’m training my eyes or myself to know my camera any better. So I guess I’ll attend YouTube university 🤷‍♂️ figure this all out that way #canon #canon_photos #canonphotography #canoneos #canoneosrebelt7 #canoneosrebel #nightphotography #nocturnal #streetphotography #freelance by @photos.jtp
