Happy 4 Year Freelance Anniversary! 🥳🥳🥳 On Saturday, I celebrated 4 years in the full time freelance business 🍻 This year has been an epic journey! I’ve ticked off a huge bucket list client in Aardman; retouching 3 projects for them so far. 🤩 I also retouched movie posters for MUBI and book covers for Penguin Random House. What a ride!!! 🤩🤩🤩 So many amazing projects, clients, brands that I’ve worked with over the last few years. Here’s post 1 of 3 to show a snapshot of the gorgeous imagery I’ve worked on during my fourth year of freelancing. From big advertising campaigns to huge entertainment projects to gorgeous creative composites to elevating existing imagery. From small independents to huge big budget companies. NO JOB IS EVER TOO SMALL. 💫 Thank you to all of my clients who book me time and time again - honestly you have made my dreams come true. You make my life so much easier and I adore working on your beautiful images! It was a real honour to have been included in a lineup of 60+ artists from the world of illustration, design & movie poster art. Thank you for organising this fantastic event @garethcreative 🤩 We each drew, painted or digitally designed pieces of art which would then be housed in its own curated frame. @ampjamcon sourced each unique frame and each artist picked a movie or TV show based on that frame’s design. My entry for the exhibition was very late in the game, giving me roughly 10 days to come up with the concept, draw, print & get it shipped back to me. When Gareth showed me the remaining frames he had left, I saw the Universal Studios frame and instantly thought of the T2 3D ride in Orlando. I went on that many times in 2017 when I visited Universal Studios, so I had many ideas of what I could do. In the end, I opted for drawing the T-1000 where his arms morphed into liquid metal. As the ride utilised 3D technology, the metal arms came right out into the audience. A perfect scene to capture for the exhibition. I got right to it, using photo references and video footage from the ride. The T-1000 was created entirely by me in Photoshop using @truegrittexturesupply brushes. Having only recently dabbled in the world of illustration, I am really happy with the outcome ⚡️ Major thank you to @ripedigital for printing & getting this to me within 2 days! The quality of this print blew me away! 🤩 INFOBURST: AMPjam Presents: We’ve Been Framed launched at @thejointworks in Birmingham, UK on Friday 2nd October 2026 and is on display for 4 weeks. THE AUCTION: All artworks from the show will be auctioned online from Sunday 11th - Sunday 18th October visit ampjam.org during this time for the auction, all lots end on the 18th (UK evening time) and pieces are available internationally. All profits from the show goes to Birmingham bereavement charity @edwardstrust which supports parents, children and young people in grief. From drawing to frame… Frame: Universal Studios Digital Drawing: Terminator 2 3D: Battle Across Time It was a real honour to have been included in a lineup of 60+ artists from the world of illustration, design & movie poster art. I had an absolute blast designing the key art for @jessshort.art film project ‘Flat 3’ for @manmetuni, which had a screening at @factory_international last week. Jess gave me a loose brief of some visual concepts she loved including ideas to experiment with typography, graphic elements and a splash of colour. I added in my own grunge and grain aesthetics, naturally 🤩 I loved how this turned out 🤩 Thank you for the opportunity, Jess!
