Phreaking Collective is taking over ‘Process’ exhibition at Lethaby Gallery for two days!

On 15 October, you can find Open Projector, our regular show-and-tell event where anyone can plug into the projector and sound system to share something for a couple of minutes. You could present a work in progress, a finished project, an artwork, an idea, a performance – anything you’d like!
No need for it to be polished. It’s all about sharing ideas and connecting with each other :)

Event details:
🗓️ 15 October Thursday, 2026
⏰ 4 PM - 6 PM
📍 Lethaby Gallery, 1 Granary Square, London N1C 4AA @lethabygallery

RSVP link in bio <3

‘Process’, at Lethaby Gallery, showcases work by recent graduates spanning art, design, and performance. Process explores not only final outcomes, but the often-spontaneous and unexpected ways of getting there. With a focus on experimentation, the exhibition reveals the research, iterations and collaborations that define the creative process.

Phreaking Collective is taking over ‘Process’ exhibition at Lethaby Gallery for two days!

On 17 October, join the return of Mixed Signals, our computational art jam. You’ll be given a specific digital tool to create with, encouraging you to push it beyond its constraints and make something new. There will be quick-fire sketch sections that encourage experimentation, longer periods to develop something with more intention, and collaborative moments to share and learn from others.

The Phreaking Collective is collaborating with Peckham Oasis to host a curated night of computational art films in their brand-new screening space. The night celebrates independent filmmakers across London working with new forms of storytelling, production, and technology.

From the data-scare future of precious and passed-down storage devices in Clara’s Harddrive, to intergalactic dreamgivers in Oneirokritikon, to an alien bacteria crossing a neverending landscape in A Fox Ate My Favourite Knickers, and a ballet of necromancy, birth, and transformation in Flowers of Flesh and Blood, each film creates a unique world that both reflects and dulls our contemporary reality.

Come along and immerse yourself in these worlds, and learn first hand from the filmmakers themselves through an open-ended discussion with the audience :)

“A Fox Ate My Favourite Knickers” by @_frangry_

An alien bacteria traverses across an even more alien landscape; a 3d scan of the artist's naked body, covered in computationally grown lichen and scattered with the letters from the poem that exists within the soundscape. The text takes inspiration from a recurrent interaction with a local neighbourhood fox who has taken a liking to the human residents' favourite garments. The interactions collapse the space between them - fox and human - decimating imagined hierarchies. It considers the overlaps between their intimate ecologies and of the deep networks that entangle all things.

Written, directed & animated by Fran Hayes
Music and sound design by Fran Hayes & ALEXANDER ALIEN

“FLOWERS OF FLESH AND BLOOD” by @xovereyn

Flowers of Flesh and Blood is a ballet-inspired digital folk horror film, using unreal engine and motion capture technology to bring to life a simulated ritual involving the summoning of a Goddess, necromancy, birth, sacrifice, decay, cannibalism, and transformation. Drawing upon the folklore of fertility rites and rituals from the ancient pagan world, Flowers of Flesh and Blood seeks to realign the human e taken in Peckham, London by @phreaking_collective

Open Projector returns on 12th September for a Special Edition! 📽️

This special edition will run similar to our usual format: but with three invited artists sharing their practices, followed by an open floor where anyone can present a 5 minute project, idea, artwork, code, or whatever else they’ve been working on.

This time, we’ve been invited by Peckham Digital to be part of Get Your Hands Dirty with Creative teach apart of Creative Intelligence at Southbank Centre!

The session is 1h30m, so open-floor slots are limited and will be drawn at random. There are no guaranteed spaces! 🫣

As this event is open to the public at Southbank Centre, all presented projects must be U-rated, with no swearing or nudity.

No RSVP needed, just show up! <3

Invited Projectionists:

Annike Tan
@ubeboobey_
Artist and maker exploring technology, craft and personal expression through DIY electronics and cyberdecks. Playful, hyper-personal objects challenging the language of mass-produced tech.

Ambie Drew
@ambiedrew
Artist exploring consumerism, gender and identity through the digital self. Working across moving image, installation and text, she explores femininity, AI, desire and the posthuman body.

Izzy Hemmings
iso-bel.computer
Artist and coder exploring the systems that shape our lives, and how they might be improved or evaded. Working across photography, print, drawing, modelling and code.

Thank you again to @bats1996 and @peckhamdigital for inviting us to be part of the festival! There’s a huge lineup of amazing artists across the weekend, so make sure you check it out.

Come, watch, or share your work with everyone <3
