On September 11, 2026, a well-deserved congratulations to Coach Scott Ketcham ’99 on being inducted into the Hampden-Sydney Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026! 🏛️🥍
Before coaching champions, he was setting records between the pipes:
▪️ 555 Career Saves (2nd all-time at H-SC)
▪️ NCAA DIII Leader in GAA (6.39)
▪️ 2x All-American & 1998 ODAC Champion
And let’s not forget—he brought that same championship standard to Parkland HS, capturing a championship in his very first season at the helm! 🏆
Thank you for setting the standard on and off the field, Coach! 👏👏

Hailing from Garden City, NY, Scott cemented his place as one of the elite goalies in H-SC history:
🔹 2x USILA All-American (1998, 1999)
🔹 2x All-ODAC Honoree (1st Team ‘98, 2nd Team ‘99)
🔹 Led NCAA Division III in Goals-Against Average (6.39) as a senior
🔹 Ranks 2nd in school history with 555 career saves
🔹 Anchored the team to a 41–17 career record, a 1998 ODAC Championship, & 2 NCAA Tournament appearances

SCOTT KETCHAM ‘99 - Lacrosse

Scott Ketcham ’99 was a two-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Honorable Mention All-American (1998-99), and a two-time All-ODAC honoree, including First Team in 1998 and Second Team in 1999. He led NCAA Division III in goals-against average (6.39) as a senior and is considered one of the top goalies in school history, ranking second in career saves (555) and among the top 15 in season saves, including 155 in 1997 (16th) and 148 in 1999 (21st).

The Garden City, New York native helped the program to a four-year record of 41-17 overall, including 19-7 in the ODAC, winning one ODAC Championship (1998) and making two NCAA Tournament appearances (1998-99).
