Played a lot of stupid games, but only gave out stupid prizes. 3-0.

This was one of the toughest competitions I’ve ever faced. I dealt with sleepless nights, constant stress, and endless what-ifs. My opponent had a big following and was tougher than his record showed. This fight was never going to be easy and the pressure felt heavy.

Since mid-2025, I had a goal of being a 3-0 MMA fighter. In high school and college I fell short of my dreams of becoming a wrestling state champion. This time around, I finally accomplished something I set out to do in combat sports.

From fighting in a boxing gym, to an old run-down gymnasium, to the Hard Rock Casino with fancy cameras, jumbotrons, and sold-out tickets, my story in combat sports unfolded exactly how I envisioned it for the first time in my life.

What’s next? I’m not sure. I never planned on chasing the UFC dream. Whatever life has in store for me, I’ll be ready to put my head down and get to work. It’s all I’ve ever known. by @phu__le
