You made 200 beats and got paid for 0 of them. 😬
Picture a producer up at 2 a.m., headphones on, finishing another loop. The beat is fire. They upload it, wait, and get a few likes. No money. Then the hard drive fills up with beats that earn nothing.
The problem was never the music. Nobody showed them where the money is. So here it is:
1️⃣ Lease your beats 💿
Sell non-exclusive licenses to many artists. The same beat earns again and again. Typical range: $25-$100 per lease.
2️⃣ Sell exclusives 👑
One buyer gets the rights and the beat comes off the market. Price it higher, from a few hundred dollars up to thousands for in-demand producers.
3️⃣ Open a beat store 🛒
Use BeatStars or Airbit, or build your own site. Your own store means you own your buyer list.
4️⃣ Pitch for sync 🎬
TV, ads, YouTube and games all need music. Join sync libraries and send clean, tagged, instrumental-ready tracks.
5️⃣ Collect royalties 📄
Register with a PRO (ASCAP, BMI, PRS and others) and always sign a split sheet. No paperwork means money left on the table.
6️⃣ Sell more than beats 📦
Drum kits, loop packs, presets, mixing, custom beats and lessons. Your skills sell too.
Making beats is the art. Selling them is the business. 🎹
Pick ONE of these and launch it this week. Save this post 📌, send it to a producer who needs it, and comment BEATS for part 2.
Which one are you starting with? 👇

Redeemers university and Casec @runcasec did an amazing thing and that was Run Gots talent and I participated💫. To the glory of God I made it to the finals but as God will have it I didn’t win the grand price but in a competition of amazing vocalists a drummer came as the 2nd runner up🥹😩

It was a privilege doing this song by pastey @pst_iren and for sure it blessed lives beyond the competition
Thank you Jesus❤️

Produced by my bro @phxsesttw
Enjoy your weekend😅
