I do something *very* out of the ordinary on wedding days

✨It literally makes other togs ask me how the heck I do it

Want to know my insane secret?

👀 I send a SAME DAY - fully edited -sneak peek gallery to the couple

Before the end of the party, they get to see favorite moments from their big day - while they’re still living it!!!

💞 Why do I do this?

Because it ensures that they’re waking up tomorrow morning with professional images they’ll love and treasure for a lifetime … and not have to share drunk Uncle Bob’s cell phone snaps 📲

(Sorry to all the awesome drunk uncles on the dance floor - we love you!)

✖️ truth = my couple wasn’t convinced they wanted this photo… in fact the bride had already de-veiled …

but they trusted me enough to say “sure, we’ll try it” and we created 60 simple seconds of magic

Just giving them a minute of get-close-cuddle-and-kiss time is sweet enough … getting to capture that is even better 📸

Shout out to the incredible staff at @the.lannin for taking such great care of Ariana & Bobby all day long, and for being SO good to your vendors!!! We appreciate you 🎀

Why can’t the holiday joy last all year long?

Now that I’m not ruining anyone’s holiday cards 🎄

Family sessions are my favorite for so many reasons, but one of the tip top is all the fun and silly prompts we can do with little kids

Introducing my newest play prompt:
Mom & Dad stand still, hold hands, look lovingly at each other (and maybe steal a kiss!) 💋

Kids:
Run around like crazy cakes in a big huge circle and laugh as loud as you can

Can we just say…
Pure magic 💫

Love that this family included their chaos photos on their holiday card

Especially grateful to have captured them for 4 years running!

It’s a forever kind of thing 💍

My best friend finally found the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with and I am so stinkin happy for them!

Out of all the incredible couples I get to photograph each year, finally capturing him with his sweet & sassy fiancée was an absolute joy

He’s been looking for his rock & roll singing / book reading / kitchen dancing / trash talking / nonstop kissing / family building person to make a home together … and here she is 💘

Just ONE Munchkin 🍩 Donut Grow Up

There’s no rule that says your first birthday must include a cake smash 🎂

There are adorable ways to get messy (or not) during your little one’s portraits

Last year, his big sister did the cutest donut smash and they’re some of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken

So when deciding what baby brother should do, this was the sweetest choice!
