The roadside vendors, fresh produce, sugar cane and all those familiar sights remind me of where my journey began.

I left Jamaica when I was young, but there are some things that never leave the heart. My roots are still a big part of the woman I am today.

Do I need to know everything before I get started?

My answer is no.

I am still learning myself, and I believe many of us learn best by taking the first step and growing from there. You do not need to be an expert. You do not need to know everything at once. You just need to be open to learning.

That is what makes the journey meaningful.

Well… I definitely wasn’t expecting THIS visitor today! 😂🦝

I went to the garage and there was a raccoon looking at me like, “Excuse me, why are YOU in my house?” 🤣

No invitation, no warning, no rent paid… just moved right in like it owned the place! 😂

I was trying to figure out who was more surprised — me or the raccoon!
