Happy Monday Gorgeous people! What are you working on this week? I’m having super fun time practicing Prokofiev’s Prelude Op. 12 No.7. This middle section has such a unique playful sound as contrast to the outer section which is more gentle and flowing. This piece is one of Prokofiev’s best early piano pieces. 😊❤️ #lovetheglissandos by @pianisimoni

I believe music is one of the kindest gifts we can give to ourselves and others. One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Playing it reminds me that it can be difficult to remain optimistic when we are in pain. Yet, pain can also be a powerful motivator for change. 🎶Bach — Praeludium & Fuga No. 11 in F Major
Nothing helps me stay focused and refresh my mind quite like playing Bach. His music is so beautifully written, and I especially love how it challenges and strengthens the fingers — particularly when working through those trills in a 3-against-2 rhythm.

Every practice session brings something new to discover, and that is one of the many things I love about Bach. 💛🎹

Sometimes, we need to stop asking time to hurry.
Let the music play. Let each note arrive in its own time—some soft, some heavy, some lingering long after they have been played.

Music teaches us something beautiful: not every moment needs to be filled.

There is meaning in the pause between two notes. There is emotion in the silence before the melody returns. Just as a song needs space to breathe, perhaps our lives do too.

We spend so much of our time chasing the next moment that we forget to live inside the one we already have. We rush through mornings, conversations, sunsets, dreams. But when we slow down, time changes. It stops feeling like something we have to catch and starts feeling like something we can experience.

So let the clock move.

Let the music breathe.

Let the notes fall where they need to fall.

And for a moment, don’t try to control the rhythm of life.

Flying back to the USA with Chopin on my shirt. ✈️🎹
Apparently, I’m not the only one coming back from Europe. 😂
No grand entrance, no concert tour... just me, my luggage, and Chopin quietly returning to America with me.
As a pianist, I felt this was the most appropriate travel outfit. 🇺🇸🎶

Some moments on a trip are more than just beautiful—they feel like a reminder of what life is truly about. ❤️
This has been my best moment from the trip yet: a moment filled with love, peace, and hope. A moment where I could slow down, breathe, be present, and appreciate how far I’ve come.

Sometimes the greatest miracles aren’t loud or extraordinary. They’re found in the miracle of now—being here, feeling deeply, sharing love, and realizing that this moment is enough.

I’m grateful for this journey, for the memories being created, and for the quiet hope that reminds me that beautiful things are still unfolding. ✨
