There’s something so beautiful about giving someone yellow flowers in September. 🌼

The tradition became popular through the Argentine series Floricienta and its song “Flores Amarillas,” and over time it spread across Latin America through social media.

Yellow flowers came to represent love, happiness, hope, and new beginnings. 💛✨

And you don’t have to be in Mexico or Latin America to join in.

This September, give someone yellow flowers just because. 🌼
Your partner. Your best friend. Your mom. Someone you love.

Because sometimes flowers say what words can’t. 💛

I love flowers that mean death. 🌸🖤

Not because I love the sadness, but because I love how flowers can hold so much meaning—even in the moments we say goodbye.

Here are 4 flowers connected to death, loss, and remembrance:

🤍 White Chrysanthemum
Mourning • Remembrance • Honor
A flower often used to honor those who have passed. Its quiet beauty reminds us that love and remembrance can continue long after someone is gone.

❤️ Red Poppy
Remembrance • Sacrifice • Loss
A symbol of remembrance for those who lost their lives in war. Its bright red petals remind us that their stories and sacrifices should never be forgotten.

🤍 White Lily
Peace • Purity • Farewell
Often seen at funerals, the white lily represents peace and the soul—a beautiful way to express a gentle farewell.

❤️ Red Spider Lily
Farewell • Death • Rebirth
Known for its haunting beauty, the red spider lily is associated with death and farewell in Japanese symbolism. It can also represent letting go and new beginnings.

Even in grief, love continues to bloom. ✨

Which one of these meanings surprised you the most? 💭👇

Some flowers don’t need a special occasion. 🌸

She doesn’t need a birthday.
She doesn’t need an anniversary.
She doesn’t need a reason.

Sometimes, the sweetest flowers are the ones that simply say,
“I was thinking of you.” 💐❤️

It’s not about how much the bouquet costs or how long the flowers last. It’s about the feeling behind them—the surprise, the thought, the little moment that makes her smile. 🥹✨

Because flowers just because will always feel a little more special. 🌷

And sometimes, the best reason to give someone flowers is simply…

because they deserve to feel loved. 💕

Not every kind of beauty needs the light… 🖤🥀

There’s just something about these flowers that I find so beautiful. They’re a little dark, a little mysterious, and different from the flowers we usually see.

I love how flowers can tell stories about feelings we don’t always know how to put into words. Even the darker meanings can be beautiful in their own way. 🖤

🥀 Dark Poppy — Passionate love and desire
🌷 Dark Tulip — Unrequited love
💙 Bluebell — Loneliness and sadness
❤️ Bleeding Heart — Heartbreak and unreturned love
💜 Foxglove — Mystery and enchantment

Some flowers remind us of the love we long for, some of the heartbreak we’ve felt, and others of the parts of ourselves we keep hidden.

Maybe that’s what makes them so beautiful. Not everything has to be bright to be meaningful, and not every beautiful thing needs to be understood by everyone. 🖤✨

Which of these flowers speaks to you the most? 🥀💕

Some people are just a little mysterious. 💜✨

They don’t have to be the loudest in the room or try to get anyone’s attention. There’s just something about them that makes you remember them, even when they’re no longer around.

That’s what I love about the purple orchid. 💜

It symbolizes admiration, elegance, and that kind of beauty that’s hard to forget.

Because sometimes, the people who leave the biggest impression are the ones who never had to try. 💜🌸

The hidden language of my bouquet… 🌸❤️

Sometimes, flowers are more than just something beautiful to look at. They can carry meanings that remind us of the things that matter most. 🤍

💙 Sea Holly — Strength and independence
❤️ Red Carnation — Love and admiration
🩷 Veronica — Loyalty and faithfulness
🌿 Eucalyptus — Protection and healing in some symbolic traditions

Together, these flowers remind me that beautiful love isn’t just about passion. It’s also about being strong in who you are, staying loyal, and choosing to stand beside one another. ❤️

Because the most meaningful kind of love gives us room to grow while making us feel that we’re not alone. 🌿

Every flower has a meaning. Together, they tell a story.” ❤️

Sometimes, there are feelings we don’t know how to put into words. 🌸🤍

That’s one of the things I love about flowers. Sometimes, they can say what our hearts struggle to express. ❤️

🌺 Red Carnation — Love & admiration
💛 Yellow Gerbera Daisy — Happiness & cheerfulness
🤍 White Tulip — Forgiveness and a fresh start
💙 Forget-Me-Not — Remembrance & lasting connection
🩷 Pink Sweet Pea — Gratitude & appreciation

Whether it’s making someone smile, saying you’re sorry, remembering someone you miss, or letting someone know how much they mean to you… there’s a flower for so many of life’s feelings. 💐

I think that’s what makes flowers so special. They’re not just beautiful to look at. Sometimes, they help us express the things we can’t quite say out loud. 🤍

💕 If you could send one of these flowers to someone today, which would you choose? 🌷

Sometimes you don’t need a special occasion to send someone flowers. 🌸

Sometimes you send them because you’re thinking of them.
Because you want to make them smile.
Because you’re proud of them.
Because you miss them.
Or simply because they deserve something beautiful. 🤍

And I love that different flowers can say these things without us having to say a word.

🌷 Pink tulips — affection, caring & gentle love
🌻 Sunflowers — happiness, positivity & warmth
🌹 Roses — love, appreciation & devotion
💜 Lavender — calm, devotion & grace
🌸 Peonies — happiness, good fortune & affection

Flowers really do have a language of their own. 🌸

So if someone came to mind while watching this…

Maybe this is your sign. 👀

Send them the flowers. 💕

Some people love softly 🌷

They care deeply, but they don’t always need to say it out loud. They show it in the little things… checking in, remembering the small details, and being there when it matters 🤍

That’s why I think the pink tulip is such a beautiful flower for them.

Pink tulips are often associated with affection, caring, happiness, and gentle love 🌷💕

Not every kind of love has to be loud or passionate.

Sometimes the sweetest kind is the quiet kind… the kind you don’t have to explain because you can simply feel it ✨

If you love softly, maybe the pink tulip is your flower 🌷

Some people just have a way of finding the good… even when things aren’t perfect. 🌻

They look for the little bit of light, hold onto hope, and somehow still find something to smile about.

That’s why I think the sunflower is such a beautiful flower for them. 💛

Sunflowers symbolize optimism, happiness, positivity, joy, and hope — a beautiful reminder to keep turning toward the light, even on the days when it’s hard to find. ☀️🌻

If you’re someone who always tries to see the good, maybe the sunflower is your flower. 💛

What flower do you think fits your personality? 🌸

Some people just love deeply. ❤️

They love with their whole heart, care a little too much, and when they fall for someone or something… they really mean it.

That’s why I think the rose is such a beautiful flower for them. 🌹

Roses have long symbolized love, passion, devotion, and deep affection — and honestly, some people just have that kind of heart.

They love deeply. They care deeply. And when they give their heart, they mean it. ❤️

So… if you love deeply, maybe the rose is your flower. 🌹

Is it? 👀

If October were a bouquet, I think it would be made up of flowers that remind us of the things this season quietly brings to the surface. 🍂🌸

Maybe that’s why fall feels so beautiful to me. 🍂

🌼 Chrysanthemum — remembering
A reminder of the people and memories we carry with us.

🧡 Marigold — warmth
That cozy feeling that makes you want to slow down and appreciate the little things.

🌸 Dahlia — strength
A beautiful reminder that we can keep growing through the changes life brings.

🤍 Anemone — quiet beauty
Finding something beautiful in the softer, quieter moments.

🌷 Cosmos — peace
A little reminder to breathe, let go, and find peace in where you are.

It’s a season of remembering, letting go, finding strength, and beginning again. 🍁

Flowers may fade, leaves may fall, and seasons may change… but the feelings they leave behind can stay with us. 🤎

If October were your bouquet, which flower would you add? 🌸🍂 by @pias_7_
