Camping in Stanley with dogs means learning that big dog energy is a mindset, not a size category 🤪

Ripley spent the trip hiking, exploring, digging, and napping.

Leah spent the trip demanding snacks and confidently believing she could keep up with the big girls, and she did! (Just...while being carried in a backpack for some of it.)

Worth the 2:45am alarm clock.

Ripley participated in a 10 mile sunrise hike and honestly I think she had one of the best days of her life. Hiking with dogs at sunrise is objectively insane with a 4am start time… but pretty magical once you’re actually on the trail.

All in all: mountain views, adventure dog activities, dog friends, human friends, approximately 400 cheese-based rewards, and a very happy (and sleepy) pit bull mix. 🤍 taken in Kepros Mountain by @pibbleratpack
