It's been a long, hot, life-changing summer. Spent a part of that in Winter back in SA saying goodbye to our old family home and the place where these kids grew up.

I've been meaning to make this for months. I would start thinking about it, flip through videos, pick a song. I would give up. The grief would swell and I'd walk away from it. It was meant to be the next thing I'd share on here. I didn't want to make it.

It took 8 months after we said goodbye to Nubian to sit down and get through it. It was therapeutic. That said, this little tribute to them feels so so far away from capturing over 13 years of pure joy, snuggles, ball games, general mayhem, neighbourhood walks, late night hangs, runs, family time, all the things big and small that makes life with furry family members so very special.

Words really won't do so I'll just end with gratitude:

Thank you Nubian, Songhai, Amazon. You were Loved. You are Loved. taken in Pretoria, South Africa by @picarus
