We went to @gecospecialparts to talk about aluminium. We came back with a film.

Triple clamps, footpegs and all those little parts you might miss at first glance. Until you see what goes into making them.

Here’s a first look at how blocks of aluminium become pieces of our Picasso. And why we sometimes spend a slightly unreasonable amount of time staring at a freshly machined part.

Another fantastic day developing our bike. We visited @gecospecialparts to get production underway and finalise the last details of our Picasso Flat Track.

Italian excellence meets Swiss precision. Because every part, every detail matters.

We know. They’re just moulds.

Not exactly the kind of thing most people would stare at for several minutes. We did. Probably for longer than we’d like to admit.

Because, somehow, this is the moment when an idea stops being just an idea. We look at all that aluminium, at the size of it, at the precision and the work behind every surface, and we realise: we’re actually doing this.

These moulds will shape the carbon-fibre frame of our road bike. Most people will never see them. Once the bike is finished, they will have disappeared behind the beauty of the final object.

But today, to us, they might be the most beautiful part of it.
