A few favorites from yesterday at Bles Park 🪶📸

Caught a Green Heron and Great Egret both hiding out and showing off at the same time, while a Cooper’s Hawk made a catch with the Blue Jays loudly giving away its location 😅 A Red-winged Blackbird was calling from the reeds. Glad the rain held off while I was there.

Drove to Spruce Knob, WV on Friday night, shot until dawn, and drove back Sat afternoon.

A beautiful pair of Little Blue Heron visited Bles Park from the last week of Apr into the first week of May 💙

Maybe they were just passing through on their migration journey, or maybe they decided to stay a little longer. They are pretty read for our region.
