CHCH winter just keeps delivering at the moment. A little crisp in the mornings but then it blooms into glorious sun drenched afternoons. Much like a PV lager style beer. If you know me, I love lagers and pilsners. Let’s be honest i just love beer but…. I appreciate the subtle changes in flavours, colours and aromas in those styles. Much like these changes, I enjoy the changes in nature through the seasons. #seasonalbeer #pickledviking #pickledvikingbeers #pickledvikingarmy #pickledvikingbrewery #lager #pilsner #blooms #glorious #gardenbeer #ifyouknowme #crisp by @pickledviking

Thirsty Thursday. Could you say no on a weeknight, when something this pretty is already in the glass? Been hiding in someone else’s brewery for last 6 weeks. Back at PV HQ brewing, back, to back, to back beers. Brewing beer, just as much fun as drinking beer. #myprecious #hazybeer #orange #beerglass #thirstythursday #pickledviking #pickledvikingbeers #pickledvikingarmy #pourmeanother #nzcraft #cantsayno by @pickledviking

I adore these Mac daddy filters. I use fermenters not uni tanks so sometimes hard to drop the cone with saturated hoppy beers. Hop debris is sitting so close to racking arm that these little filters act as insurance to get the beer into your hand quicker. If anybody wondering, fresh batch of Blurred lines.#pickledviking #pickledvikingbeers #pickledvikingarmy #hazyipa #juicebomb #orange #filter #iadore #beertransfer #freshbatch #macdaddyfilter by @pickledviking

This is how we do it. Bringing in the New Year with new experiences. Something I have talked about for years but never done. Brewers breakfast, Hot scotchie, Hot fat bastard. Hot brewers wort with a dram of whiskey. Good way to get 1st brewday of 2025 going.#pickledviking #pickledvikingbeers #pickledvikingarmy #brewersbreakfast #brewdays #newexperiences #howwedoit #startingwithabang #whiskey #dram #science taken in Canterbury, New Zealand by @pickledviking

Illuminate your senses. Being old skool, I still like clear beers in the arsenal. Fresh batch of Sanity Pils, NZ Pilsner. Riwaka hops rule the roost in this beer.
Restrained the ABV in last batches and focused on post ferment PH levels. Really dialling in the nuances of interaction between grain and hops. #yummy #pickledvikingbeers #pickledviking #pickledvikingarmy #pilsner #nzpilsner #riwaka #illuminate #senses #beingoldskool #clearbeer #bigglass #youwantthis #freshbatch #nzbeers #canterburybeer #jeweloftheeast taken in Canterbury, New Zealand by @pickledviking

Never gets old……not for me anyway. Another day, another glass of beer picture. The journey behind the photo is the inspiration. Blurred between the lines got rebrewed to become blurred lines, and co-pitched with two yeasts that I’ve been playing with. Crazy results. Taken attributes from both yeasts. While making more boozy at 6.7% it held onto the fruit malt balance the other yeast promoted. Happy accident or we’ll constructed? #pickledviking #pickledvikingbeers #pickledvikingarmy #gardenbeers #handcrafted #craftbeers #nzcraftbeers #christchurch #canterbury #eastside #gettingitdone #science #bluesky #flowers #appletree #beerglass #orangecolour #werecoming #seeyousoon #youwantthis #nevergetsold #inspiration #opaque #nice #fatfingers taken in Canterbury, New Zealand by @pickledviking
