I had the pleasure of working with @pickleyourmind again this year to raise money for @erikas.lighthouse — an organization that focuses on mental health & wellness.

@jamessnyder8 & @lucaskane_ put on another great event at the @apex_prd filled with donuts, a live DJ, a best-dressed award, silent raffle, and some incredible pickle ball play. You can also catch them raising awareness for mental health in Chicago!

@pickleyourmind is a new organization based out of Denver, CO dedicated to bringing awareness to mental health through the sport of pickleball, and these are photos from all of the fun from the inaugural event hosted at @apex_prd !

All proceeds go towards and organization called @erikas.lighthouse , which focuses on mental health education to elementary, middle, and high schoolers in order to “Get depression out of the dark.”

@jamessnyder8 + @lucaskane_ did such a fantastic and intentional job putting this tournament together, and over 72 players showed up to support the cause. They hope to make this an annual event extending over various cities, so if you love Pickleball, keep an eye out for updates! Special thanks to @blakec_t for keeping the tunes going all day too.

Officially 501(c)(3)

We are incredibly excited to announce that Pickle Your Mind Inc. has officially been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS! The milestone is a massive moment for the organization and it lays a foundation for an even brighter future! With this now accomplished we are excited to further expand fundraising and partnership opportunities while allowing our generous supporters to claim tax deductions on future donations.

A massive shoutout must be given to our CFO @lucaskane_ for navigating the process and bringing this over the line! The future of Pickle Your Mind is incredibly bright and we are so appreciative for all our supporters! Looking forward to seeing you at a future Pickle Your Mind event!
