Remember when every walk could turn into an adventure? - Swipe for some inspiration :) When a tree, a path or somewhere you’d never been before was enough to keep you exploring for hours. What did you imagine you’d be when you grew up? - Swipe for some inspiration! When we were young, books could make the world feel enormous. We could be explorers, inventors, writers, astronauts, presidents… anything really. Some of those dreams changed. Some disappeared. And some might still be waiting for us. Shouldn’t we be marching more? When did we stop fighting for what we believed in? And what did you genuinely believe you would become when you grew up? When did we stop believing we could change the world? I miss the excitement and uncertainty of childhood. That feeling that our families could change the world, and that even our biggest dreams might actually happen. Growing older doesn’t mean we have to abandon those dreams. We can still make noise, find our people and become someone our younger selves would be proud of. Did you dream of becoming a musician, actor, artist, athlete, astronaut, or something completely different? Tell us below, then send this to someone who shared some of those childhood dreams with you. If you like thinking about the past, the present and what might still be possible, have a look at our new book, Things I Miss… Things I Can Do Now!
