Head to the @sugarloafnewyork Fall Festival on October 10 & 11 for a weekend filled with artisan crafts, live music, food, drinks, and family-friendly fun throughout the historic arts and crafts village. 🍂 🛍️ While you’re there, make some time to wander through Sugar Loaf’s local shops and studios, too! 🤔 Need something to do later in the evening after spending all day in Sugar Loaf? Well, head over to @sweetcloverfarmny for their Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 10 from 2–10 PM. Enjoy live music from two local favorites, Hurley Mountain Highway and @mightyspectrumband, plus artisan vendors, pumpkin painting, harvest crafts, seasonal cocktails, wood-fired pizza, fresh donuts, and more. 🎟️ Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and kids under 12 are free! The Sugar Loaf Fall Festival will have plenty of local food vendors and trucks, but if you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine nearby, stop by @cancun_inn_sugarloaf on Kings Highway! 🌮 From Mexican favorites and street tacos to margaritas and more, it’s an easy stop to add to your Sugar Loaf plans before or after the festival. We’re seeing more yellows and oranges across Orange County, with pops of red beginning to join the mix. Your lunch rotation needs this. 🤤 @pho65middletown serves authentic Vietnamese food with a menu that goes well beyond pho. The colors are slowly starting to show, and we’ve got another weekend of fall plans ready to go with them. 👀🍁 ➡️ SWIPE for this week’s foliage update, plus what to do and where to grab a bite while you’re out exploring! 🍊 Tag @PickOCNY, use #PickOCNY, or upload your Orange County adventures using the link in our bio for a chance to be featured! 🍎 If there’s one weekend to visit Warwick in the fall, this is the one! @warwickapplefest returns Sunday, October 4, from 9 AM–5 PM, bringing 150+ craft vendors, 75+ food vendors/trucks, four stages of live music, and, of course, plenty of apple-filled fun to the Village of Warwick. Did we mention admission is free? ⚠️ NOTE: Parking is $10 (Cash only) and helps to support some of our local non-profit groups. Parking locations also have FREE shuttle buses to the heart of the festival!! 😋 Although Applefest will have tons of food vendors/trucks available, be sure to swing by @mister_croissant_bakery_cafe’s Warwick location at 28 Railroad Avenue for a sweet treat! They have handcrafted croissants, pastries, and coffee. Don’t know what to get? Their signature pistachio croissant is a pretty good place to start! 🥐 🍁 We’re seeing progress! More yellow is starting to spread across the landscape, with even a few pops of orange beginning to show.
