I love this kid so much. He’s always been amazing. He’s brave, in his own ways. He’s kind, but not always nice. He’s so smart, uniquely. And hilarious, quietly. Have a great year, Hollis. by @picsbysweeney

Rebuilding this telecaster. The bridge pickup didn’t work and it had these coil-split switches in it. I bought a new @dimarzioinc PAF for the bridge. Hopefully my solder skills pass muster. Stay tuned. #telecastercustom #humbucker #thesongpainter by @picsbysweeney

Porter and I gettin’ after it in the garage today; fixing Pa’s car. He’s such a great helper and becoming a good mechanic. We did struts, both axels, motor mount and torque mount. It was a big job. I told Porter today, “Don’t EVER let somebody tell you what you can and can’t do. They have no IDEA what you’re capable of.”

I love this kid.

When I worked for Farmer Bros Coffee in the early 2000’s, I would collect recipes from the Taste section of the StarTrib. Every Wednesday I stayed out of town at a hotel and would get a complimentary newspaper Thursday morning. I’d pull the variety and taste sections and throw the rest. This was a keeper. #baked by @picsbysweeney

The journey continues for the @guildguitars Aristocrat. Due to this guitar being nearly 75 years old the pick up covers have shrunk and are stuck to the pickups. I need to figure out a way to get them off so we can repair the other electronics. Wish me luck. #irreplaceable by @picsbysweeney

Last night Jesse and I went to see The Boss and his "Land of hopes and dreams" tour. It was simply amazing. This is my second time seeing them perform and it still blew me away. We love #brucespringsteen and #theestreetband. And #tommorello can play the guitar alright. 🤣 taken in Mortgage Matchup Center by @picsbysweeney
