@pidfloors was honored to be a venue partner for “From Commitments to Credibility: The Role of Certification & Verification in Sustainability.” This incredible Climate Week NYC 2026 panel discussion and networking event, organized by Preferred by Nature, gathered leaders from across certification, standards, and sustainability at our flagship showroom in New York City.

This Climate Week NYC 2026 event brought together leading voices from the forestry, agriculture, carbon, and corporate sustainability sectors to explore a question increasingly central to the world of design: what does responsible sourcing look like when the standards themselves are evolving? While navigating more ambitious climate and biodiversity goals, emerging regulation, and more discerning expectations from customers, investors, and regulators, the evening’s comprehensive panel discussion examined how certification and independent assurance can bring greater transparency to the materials and systems behind the things we make.

Speakers Included:

Cameron Plese: RSPO, Head of North America and Head of Government Affairs

Christa Anderson: RFA, Senior Director of Climate

Julianne Baroody: Verra, Senior Director Certification

Marcel Fukayama 深山: B Lab, Chief Impact & Movement Officer

Sarah Billig: Forest Stewardship Council US, President

We created our flagship showroom to become a design hub of inspiration for all and we love having important conversations about climate and sustainability here—topics about which PID Floors is deeply passionate.

Thank you for such an incredible evening, @preferredbynature 🌳

@pidfloors was honored to host FORESTS FOR CLIMATE, an incredible networking event for climate leaders and change makers attending Climate Week NYC 2026, at our flagship showroom in New York City.

Alongside our inspiring fellow sponsors, @fsc_us , The American Forest Foundation, and the @sfi_forests , we proudly welcomed a remarkable group of over 250 attendees, all at the top of their sustainability and conservation game. It was a hope-filled evening of conversation focused on topics that PID Floors is deeply passionate about and committed to—sustainability, climate, and conservation—all catalyzed by a common mission and a shared vision of making our planet, our forests, and our footprint, more sustainable and considerate.

PID Floors was beyond elated to be part of such a dynamic, innovative, and intelligent group of climate advocates. It was an evening of shared values and common goals filled with positivity, warmth, intentionality, and focus for a healthier planet and more sustainable world.

Thank you for such an inspiring evening, FSC, American Forest Foundation, and Sustainable Forestry Initiative!
