BlUE BELT 💙 13.02.2026

Last week I finally received my blue belt in JiuJitsu. It has been a long ten year journey at white belt plagued with many injuries, setbacks and dealing with the busy-ness of life. Super grateful for everyone who has been involved in the journey over the years and finding such a great home @southsidegrapplingstudio with amazing teammates and coaches @konnor_tiggs and @mikestopforth.

Excited about what the next part of the journey looks like.

Also... shoutout to @shar_lee_jessica for being a super supportive wife through all the ups and downs.

01 BACKPACK // INKTOBER 2024

There are many things that can go into a backpack, many essential items like underpants, socks, beer, a kettle, some sugar, a whole bowl of cornflakes, one little moonbug, more beer and a very flat sleeping mat. One thing you can't put in a backpack though is a flaming stick, the stick would most likely buckle under the weight of the other items and everything may smell of smoke afterwards. Rupert needs to keep carrying the flame. To keep carrying the flame through the sunniest of sunshines and the windiest of winds. He needed to protect this flame with everything inside and out of himself.

So until Rupert meets a match he likes he needs to keep on carrying his own flame.

Happy happy birthday @shar_lee_jessica AKA Shar-Lee Princess. What a magical little bean you are and I am continually grateful to have you in my life and to share my life with such a wonderful, caring and supportive human. I am so incredibly proud of the person you are and how you carry yourself. You are a seeker of truth and have such a soft, caring heart. God has blessed me so abundantly with such a precious gift as you. I love you my Moon Princess! Happy birthday my sweetheart!!! by @pie.turnedsour

The Undertaker

I loved Wrestling when I was a kid. Everything about it, all the characters, the music, the costumes and the fireworks. Noone could convince me that it was fake. The Undertaker was an all-time favourite of mine and it took a few cycles of him coming back to life that the facade started to crumble BUT it was always super cool.

My contribution to @planrob DTIYS. Not really a style I actually work in but had a lot of fun with this one. Big shout out to Rob for being a constant source of inspiration and a huge congratulations on 3k followers.
