I am pretty happy with my "Queen of Hearts" here. I am not POSITIVE that she is complete yet, but I like her so far. You cannot really tell in this photo, but I cut out a window in the card and placed her in that. (You can see some of the process in my stories.)

I am sad about the wrinkles in this image, and if I wasn't afraid I would totally ruin everything I would have tried to touch the areas up with some paint, but I am just going leave it. I am still learning!

Work in Progress - after sitting with the mini backgrounds I created a couple weeks ago, I chose a couple and started adding some color to them. I feel like these might be done (except for darkening the borders,) but I am going to let them dry and revisit them.

"Sleep Well." 8" x 8" on gessoed wood panel with paint, tissue paper, ink, magazine cutouts, and colored pencil.

This something I started in a workshop with @lisaagaran back in 2017 (?) I had always liked the colors in the original piece, but it never felt "done." I had looked at it several times over the years but never really knew what to do with it. Today, I just decided to go for it and see what happens. It has some areas that I am not 100% happy about, but it feels more complete now, so that feels like an accomplishment.

My original intention was to cut up my master board and use those pieces to create new mini collages - but I kind of like how these look on their own. I am leaving them alone for now.
