POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi! For those who aren’t too familiar with this page, my name is Babe.

I started Pieces of Dixie over a year ago. What began as selling furniture somehow turned into a leap into an entirely new life built around creativity.

Painting has always been a part of it, too. But as I’ve continued to evolve, I’ve realized I want to make more room for my own art and share more of that process with you.

There are a million ways to put your work out into the world these days, so I figured I’d try something new.

Every Sunday, I’ll be auctioning off an original piece of art.
Different sizes, colors, mediums, and styles. No real rules other than making something and putting it out there.

Part of this is about making my art more accessible, and part of it is about giving myself a little structure and a reason to keep creating consistently.

If you’re a creative running your own business, you probably know how quickly structure can go out the window :)

So, here’s to trying something new.

First up: “Things I Meant to Say”
Acrylic on canvas | 5 ft × 4 ft
SOLD

We’ll be starting the bidding at $300. I want to keep these auctions approachable and give more people the opportunity to own original art.

To place a bid, simply leave your offer in the comments. Feel free to DM me with any questions / if you curious about shipping.

Bidding closes Wednesday, October 21. A new piece will go up next Sunday.

I’m hoping this becomes a little Sunday tradition around here. Something that pushes me to keep creating and gives you all a chance to be part of the process.

We’ll see where it goes. That’s kind of been the theme of this whole thing anyway. 🖤 by @piecesofdixie

Third Up “make up your mind”
Mixed Media on Canvas 5ft x 4ft

We’ll be starting the bidding at $250 I want to keep these auctions approachable and give more people the opportunity to own original art.

Bedroom update part 1.

I finally thrifted a big enough piece of fabric that worked for the space. Added photos to make it feel a little more personal and cozy.

This took me 15 minutes and only cost $25 dollars & it’s exactly what I was looking to create with the space. by @piecesofdixie
