Today wraps up a much needed vacation that I took last week. Took the E36 on an 1,800 mile roadtrip with absolutely zero issues. Mind you the car had 243k miles on it when I left. Started the beginning of the week at the Jersey Shore in Stone Harbor, NJ. It’s been over 6 years since I’ve been to the beach and it felt sooo good to be back. Arlo got to set paws on the beach for the first time too. Got to see and hang out with family I haven’t seen in years. Overall it was an amazing time.

The second half of the week was spent in my old stomping grounds in PA. I even attended a lot of the pre show events at @loeshowofficial in Pottstown. What a well put together event and car show. The pictures do not do it justice. I love all the pre meets and small events that they held on the days leading up to the show. Overall I’d say the week off was amazing and much needed. Here’s some photos from the whole adventure. Now to have a day to relax before I get back to the grind.

Sincerely,

Classic Hondas On The Dragon was an amazing time this year. I’m very glad I got the car ready in time after doing a lot of work to it over the past 2 weeks. Car felt and drove amazing. As for the show? I was very glad to catch up with friends I haven’t seen in a while, and drive down the dragon.

I need to give credit where credit is due:

$1800 car, 200tw tires, gutted back half with no sound deadening, an amazing doggo. We went to The Vintage this weekend to catch up with old friends. Overall an amazing weekend despite Arlo getting overstimulated making us have to leave early. Car made it there and back with zero issues, and cleared 7000 miles on the car in under 8 months of ownership. It was nice catching up with people who I haven’t seen in years. There are also some straggler pictures not from The Vintage. The first pic was taken at a local cars and coffee on Sunday, the final was taken at the Nantahala National Forest on the way back.

It’s been one heck of an adjustment getting back into the gym post meet. However, I think we’re getting back into the swing of things after a 14RM at 225 on bench and a 11RM at 415 on squat.

Throwback Thursday to last Sunday when I took the Integra on its second trip to Tail Of The Dragon. Hit the Cherohala Skyway after and managed to average 30.3mpg on this tank of gas as well.

1st Place Gold Medal going home with Trevor!! This meet was a unique one that challenged Trevor’s mindset. After missing his opener on commands and his second attempt getting stifled by stress. Trevor found his “happy place” and overcame a rough start with zen mode. Making his 3rd after having to lock in was a massive win and a showing that Trevor can get himself out of any scenario in this sport. Bench press came around and he managed to post an easy opener and after misgrooving forward in his second attempt, put together a strong 347lb. We went into this meet knowing we wanted the 600 deadlift attempt, however on the power bar/stiff bar his heaviest pull to date had only been about 550. Opener flew. 2nd attempt slowed down marginally. It was going to take everything Trevor had in him. AND HE SHOWED UP. The mindset to overcome. The fortitude to never quit! The poise to lock in commands. Pushing the limits in every way and coming away with the big win! That’s what it’s all about. What a meet! Well done Trevor. taken in Dalton Convention Center by @piedstert
