🌸The VCH🌸

This is the most popular below-the-belt piercing I do. There’s LOTS more I can say about it but we’ll start with this video for now.

If you want to see if you can get it done do the Q-Tip Test first.

Here’s how:

1. Get a Q-Tip and put it underneath your hood. You will need to sit or lay down to do this.

2. If at least half of the cotton part of the Q-Tip is covered you SHOULD have enough tissue to support the jewelry for the VCH. A thorough anatomy check either in person or virtually would still need to be done to confirm suitability.

If you want to get the VCH done or have questions book a consultation with me.

🌸The “C” in VCH was intentionally left out so I don’t get flagged. Google it if you’re curious🫶🏾

Vertical Helix Follow-Up🫡

I like to do piercing follow-ups around the 4-6 week mark after a piercing especially cartilage piercings. The vertical helix, like other helix piercings takes about 6-12 months to fully heal so patience is key. Watch til the end ✨

Beginner-Friendly Piercings ✅

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. You might not agree 100% with my list and that’s ok 🫶🏾

Please keep in mind that this isn’t a complete list of ALL piercings that don’t hurt as much, just a couple of the most popular ones.

Even though the nostril can be startling, it isn’t an excruciating pain, the earlobe is soft, and the navel is a quick pinch through a fold of skin.

Keep in mind that all piercings are anatomy dependent but especially the navel so go to a piercer you trust to make sure you can get these safely.

They had their time, but we’re moving on 🫡

If you’re on the fence about getting your nose, helix or nipples pierced please don’t let my experience stop you from going through with it.

I’ve had clients that have gotten all three of these piercings and I’ve had smooth healing processes. Everybody’s experience is different. You won’t know what yours will be like until you do it 🫶🏾
