This meal had us texting the family group chat asking how Polish we can claim to be.

We were so excited to try @pierogikitchenchicago after our recent visit to @spoko_chicago, from the same owners, and everything exceeded our expectations.

And are we allowed to say we’d take a Polish handshake over a Chicago handshake any day? The vodka tastes more like a sweet, floral liqueur, so no need to brace for the misery of a Malört shot!

We’re doing it again soon, and everything is a must-try:

Happy national pierogi day! #pierogilife by @pierogikitchenchicago

Holy pierogis! @pierogikitchenchicago really put me in a “pickle” as I wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu. So “dumpling”, the Polish in me of course had to had to have pierogis. Beet and goat cheese (I may want that pink for my hair) and truffle and Parmesan were my choices. The potato pancakes with the brisket gulasz were “shredded”. I may have gotten “stuffed” finishing the stuffed cabbage. And “dough” not sleep on tossing a whole piece of bread into that dill pickle soup. Ok, now when can I go back?!

If you’re always looking for a new Chicago food spot, Pierogi Kitchen needs to be on your list. 🥟👀

📍 Pierogi Kitchen is exactly the kind of Chicago neighborhood spot I love finding. Really good Polish comfort food, SO many pierogi to choose from and enough different fillings that obviously we had to try a few. 😂

And these aren’t just your traditional pierogi either — they have the classics along with some fun twists that make deciding what to order way harder than it should be.

This is your sign to skip the same places you always go and add another local Chicago restaurant to your list.

🥟 Save this one for later
👯 Send it to whoever is always down to try a new Chicago spot

And because I know people have STRONG opinions about this… what is the superior pierogi filling?! 👇
