I wish I could tell my 8-year-old self that she will one day marry the boy sitting next to her in class and witness the moment he becomes a LION! 🦁 taken in Aviva Stadium by @pierraschoemies

Today I flew in a chopper for the first time ever… 🥹🤍

A week ago, the @fairmontstandrews team phoned with “a bit of an Against the Grain idea” and obviously, we said YES.

Fast forward a few days and our @hirundineatg team were flying across Scotland to St Andrews for an afternoon with sporting legends. Still can’t quite believe I’m writing that.

I’ve seen Scotland a thousand times, but seeing it from above felt like seeing it for the first time.

The hills, the coastline, the water, all of it. I genuinely couldn’t stop looking out the window.

It’s funny how somewhere so familiar can still completely take your breath away.

Feeling very lucky tonight.

For the experience, for the people I got to share it with and for this beautiful little country we get to call home.

A dream come true. by @pierraschoemies

Arriving in style at Fairmont St Andrews for an incredible afternoon hosting our Sporting Legends Lunch. 🏉🥃

A fantastic afternoon of rugby, whisky and great conversation, with a warm welcome to Duhan van der Merwe and Pierre Schoeman, who joined us to talk all things rugby and Hurindine Whisky.

The conversation was expertly hosted by international rugby star Ryan Wilson and golfer Alan Tait, making for a truly memorable afternoon in great company.

Some evenings just come together like a symphony. 🥃

In support of The Big Match for the @the_spartansfc Community Foundation, we had the privilege of seeing Hirundine woven through an unforgettable four-course dinner by @tom_kitchin and his talented team - each course finding a new note for the whisky to play.

From Loch Creran oysters paired with Hirundine, to an 18-hour slow cooked brisket with Hirundine whisky glaze, every detail was considered. A beautiful reminder that whisky doesn’t only belong in the glass - in the right hands, it can become part of the story of the food itself.

An evening of exceptional Scottish produce, great company and a cause that matters deeply.

A huge thank you to Tom and his team for creating such a thoughtful menu, to Kate and Shane for welcoming us into their beautiful home, and to everyone involved in bringing the evening together in support of the Spartans Community Foundation.

A perfect symphony of food, whisky and purpose. 🪶

A night that made me appreciate just how precious every heartbeat really is. ❤️

Such a special evening attending the @the_bhf Scotland Heart Hero Awards and celebrating the remarkable people behind such an important cause.

Hearing their stories and seeing the incredible impact being made was genuinely moving. So much courage, resilience, compassion and hope in one room. It was a beautiful reminder of the difference people can make in the lives of others.

I left feeling incredibly inspired, grateful and with a very full heart.

A truly unforgettable evening celebrating extraordinary people and the lives they continue to touch. ❤️ by @pierraschoemies

Last night, I had one of those “how is this our life?” moments. 🥹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@landrover_pentland invited us to The Royal @edinburghtattoo, and this year’s A Call to Gather felt a little closer to home. More than 800 performers from all over the world, coming together right here in Edinburgh.

We started the evening with dinner by @tom_kitchin at Ramsay Garden, before making our way up to the Royal Gallery.

Then the first pipes began.

There’s honestly nothing quite like it. The sound of the Massed Pipes and Drums filling the Esplanade, @edinburghcastle above us, thousands of people around us, and performers from so many different countries sharing the same stage. It was pretty special.

We ended the night on the rooftop, looking out over Edinburgh. A city we arrived in eight years ago, never knowing just how much it would come to mean to us.

I guess we answered the call all those years ago… and we hope to gather here for a while longer. 🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There’s something special about sharing the place you call home. Murrayfield in the sun is always a good day. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
