Once in a while there comes the opportunity to be part of something special, something that can change your professional and personal path. Visiting Osaka Ceramic Training Center and being able to spend 5 incredible days together with and learning from Master Shigeo Kataoka was definitely such an experience. It has been an educational but most of all humbling experience. Watching a true master of the craft at work makes you realize how little you know and how much more there is to learn and do! It is back to practicing the basics for me! I had also the immense pleasure to meet some of the best dentists from all around the world! For me to be in the same group and course as you was something out of this World! Special thanks to my Japanese friends @y_koza_dds and @takuya17minamino for the invitation and organization! I got to share it all with the love of my life - my dear wife Marlen ❤️ Japan, you have been great and we can’t wait to come back! taken in Osaka Ceramic Training Center by @pierre_dimitrov

🦷 Indirect Adhesive Posterior Restorations: The Bio-Emulation Approach⁣ ⁣ Precision in posterior dentistry comes down to the details, diagnosis, preparation, adhesion and knowing when to go direct or indirect.⁣ ⁣ Dr. Pierre Dimitrov will be bringing that decision-making process into focus at BAAD Conference 2027, with a lecture centred on adhesive indirect posterior restorations and the principles behind predictable, high-quality outcomes.⁣ ⁣ He’ll explore biomimetic concepts, material selection, preparation protocols, immediate dentine sealing and the role of digital workflows in everyday restorative practice.⁣ ⁣ Based in Sofia, Dr. Dimitrov works across adhesive restorative dentistry, aesthetics and digital dentistry, and regularly lectures internationally on indirect restorations, rubber dam isolation and contemporary restorative techniques.⁣ ⁣ 📍Hilton Syon Park Hotel⁣ 📅 29 & 30 January 2027⁣ 🔗LINK IN THE BIO TO BOOK by @pierre_dimitrov

That feeling when you finalize a case that you worked hard on in the end of the week… Priceless! You might remember this case from a while back (The Double Dam case) of twin crown reconstruction. After we did a lot of work also on the adjacent teeth - endo retreatment and restorations, I was able to finalize the case with 2 homemade monolithic zirconia crowns. Happy to see the soft tissues in perfect condition and that nice polished collar of the crowns, combined with excellent fit, proximal and occlusal contacts! #dentistry #toothwear #adhesivedentistry #restorativedentistry #bioemulation taken in Denta Consult by @pierre_dimitrov
