For this first day, guests stepped into our vision of sensory luxury, discovering original fragrance creations inspired by the world of the hotel, each revealing a different atmosphere, moment and olfactive story. 
From fragrance to taste, the experience extended beyond scent with a mixologist bringing another sensory dimension to the journey.
A first day filled with discoveries, conversations and unexpected encounters between the senses.

For the 20th anniversary of @istitutomarangoni_paris , Symrise Fine Fragrance perfumer @pierregueros imagined L’Orangerie, a fragrance created to capture the dialogue between Milanese design and Parisian elegance. 
A creation born at the crossroads of disciplines, where fashion, design and fragrance share the same language of inspiration and expression.

@laboratorioolfattivo Bagage à main.
We often say perfumes are memories in a bottle.
For the creation of Bagage à main @robertodrago1 gave me the oppotunity to translate a teenager souvenir into a scent.

As a young adult, my father offered me a beautiful leather bag made of italian skin that he made himself. (Second picture)
As a young perfumer that is the second accord I created. It took me 25 years to bring it to life in a more experienced fragrance.

It was time to celebrate the meeting of artists with powerful, singular voices.

The olfactory foundation was already there before I met Sun: an irresistible, playful, regressive burst of bubblegum, popping against a metallic microphone on an electric stage.

Then Sun stepped into the creative process with a brilliant intuition born from her experience on stage, that elevated Pierre and Christopher’s olfactory composition.

Lipstick on the microphone at the end of the show.

That sensual trace that brought heart, skin and pleasure to the fragrance: iris, violet and musks melting into adrenaline-warmed skin.

The formula was complete, and it simply wouldn’t have been the same without this exchange.

I’m always fascinated by those moments when, out of a simple conversation, an idea suddenly emerges and becomes the missing piece of the composition. From the very next perfume trials, the conviction was absolute.

Heavy Bubblegum was ready for the big stage.
