the smoke bush & caramel brown tile romance that took place yesterday! 🤎 a little about my kitchen remodel!! We opened up the frame of the kitchen to allow for more movement and space. I wanted it to feel airy and full of light. It was important to me to incorporate natural elements into the redesign wherever possible. Using locally grown elements in my arrangements & focusing on a natural aesthetic is what I pride myself on. Volumes of one gorgeous element. I brought @zelligehome into the picture because these natural tiles from Morocco feel handmade & the collage feels dynamic. The color I chose is one that feels warm, like a hearth from an old English estate. There are tones of chocolate, burnt sugar, espresso, citrus oranges & deep burgundy in each tile. I love how they play together. To celebrate the final piece of our kitchen being completed, I chose this June favorite, Smoke Bush laced with a river of “wine” corepsis & curly summer allium scapes. Some more kitchen bts for the chocolate tile enthusiasts! Originally we wanted just a backsplash of the brown tile for behind the oven wall, but once they started installing it was impossible to resist the whole kitchen. I would’ve tiled the ceiling if it was feasible 🤎😭 such a beautiful statement for this room and so helps to ground the space. More to come on home reno but thanks for joining this tile romance!
