POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Not "self-made." More like elder-made.

Every step I take carries the footprints of those who walked before me.

I am made from the wisdom, patience, love, and prayers of my elders, the ones who speak my name in rooms I have never entered, who pray for me when I am not there, and whose sacrifices made a way for me long before I even knew I would need one.

Their strength lives in me. Their lessons guide me. Their faith covers me.

As Gaama Mama G always reminds us:

"Be good and do good in everything you do."

Those words are more than advice—they are a way of life.

As we prepare for The Rising of The Kromanti King and Kromanti Fest, we honor the ancestors, celebrate our elders, and carry their legacy into the next generation.

Rooted in his mother's unwavering devotion and guided by purpose, he rose determined to give his daughters what he once longed for—presence, guidance, and a legacy.

With faith as his compass, every step has been taken with one purpose: to make his family and ancestors proud.

His message is simple:

"If you're as determined to be successful as you once were to pursue the distractions of the streets, nothing can stop you. Stay focused, stay disciplined, and never give up."

Your past doesn't have to define your future. Discipline, purpose, and faith can change the course of a life—and the generations that follow.

More than a decade of impact. Countless lives touched. One shared vision.

We celebrate not only how far we've come, but the incredible community that has made this journey possible. Every member, volunteer, partner, sponsor, supporter, and advocate has played a vital role in preserving Indigenous knowledge, celebrating our cultures, and creating spaces where our traditions continue to flourish.

This milestone is more than a celebration of the past,it's an invitation to shape the future. Our work is far from over. The next chapter calls for even more voices, more hands, and more hearts committed to protecting our heritage and empowering future generations.

If our journey has inspired you, now is the perfect time to become a member, join us at our upcoming events, and be part of a growing movement dedicated to honoring Indigenous cultures, strengthening our communities, and creating lasting change.

Together, we celebrate our past, embrace our present, and build a future where Indigenous voices continue to lead, inspire, and thrive.

Thank you for believing in this mission and for walking this journey with us. The best is yet to come.

Attend an event. Be part of the movement.

This workshop reminded me why I’m building Nia Handcrafted.

Not just for candles, but for moments like this.

People gathering around a table, creating with their hands, asking questions, sharing space, and connecting through culture.

Thank you @pikiboprandes for creating spaces rooted in the mission of “Liberating Minds Through Culture, Art, Technology and Sport,” and thank you @kromantiexperience for holding such a meaningful weekend.

This felt like community.
This felt like return.
This felt like the beginning of something.

As we celebrate this incredible journey, it is important to invite the Kromanti Kindah — our family, our community, our tribe — to be part of this special occasion.

You stood with us when it mattered most, and this celebration belongs to you as much as it belongs to us.

Join us in May 2027 as we gather to honor our history, celebrate our culture, and strengthen the bonds that connect us across generations.

"Until the lion learns to write, every story will glorify the hunter."

Together, let us tell our own story.

Let us honor the past, embrace the present, and build a stronger tomorrow for the next generation.
