Made this dress a couple of months ago, the fabric is from @stitch_fabric1 💙 It is a beautiful linen with a nice weight and movement to it. Pattern is #v9253 or v#1735 by @simplicity_creative_group, I have actually made this pattern once before. This time I’ve added an eyelet drawstring to the the neck as it’s very deep in the pattern and I also changed the back a bit by lowering the zipper and adding a self covered button with loop to the top of the neck. Really pleased how it turned out 🙂 Thanks to Robin 🐕 for taking part, I am lucky to have him as a companion for a week 🥰

Me Made May Summer vacation edition part 1 ☀️

-self drafted shorts using a charity shop cotton table cloth. High waisted with patch pockets in front and back zipper. Piping detail on pockets.

-bikini cover up made out of a lovely embroidered @lamazifabrics cotton and vintage trims finished off with hand crochet, This is my version of the #fibremoodmeryll , I just changed the neckline.

- self drafted short sleeved top and half circle skirt using purple cotton broderie anglais from @woolcresttextiles

- #hanadress from @effortlesspatterns made with a linen duvet cover.

I’m working on a more detailed pattern for this Cap Ear Flap Head Band!

I am also thinking of an alternative closure to ribbons, I think this would be good for guys too!

Made a bias half circle skirt in a lovely checked deadstock wool from @stitch_fabric1 ❤️ Regretfully didn’t put pockets in as was feeling lazy, but I did take the time to cover the poppers in fabric😅! I lined the skirt with an organza, makes it feel nice and swishy. What do we think? Mumsy or chic? Made a new oven glove for my kitchen. I had this lovely vintage table cloth off cut in my stash, so pieced it all up with some vintage trims and a pink bias binding. I used the wadding from my old oven glove so everything is re used. I had to sew the bias binding by hand as it was all too much for my sewing machine, but I think the hand stitching adds to the vintage charm of it all ❤️ taken in London, United Kingdom by @pikkukaisu

My Lemoyne stars so far 💙

These fabrics are a combination of left overs from dress making, a pair of old pyjamas, bargain bucket duvet from @jysk_fi and a vintage heirloom bedsheet.

Loving how these squares are looking. I don’t think I will finish the quilt top here as the sewing machine is fed up with me, so these squares will be coming to London with me!

Fit check 🙂 this set is an upcycled saree in silk finished earlier in the summer. It had been in my unfinished project pile for quite a while previously! Patterns are self drafted.
