Lumix DC-S1 + Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f1.4 (typically @ f/2.8)

This lens renders such a moody contrast and glow stopped down, and the Lumix's dynamic range leans right into that with this wonderful filmic look.

I'm excited to take this setup into coming projects. by @pile.josh

Building beds.
Building capacity.
Building the kind of life that actually moves.

This is where theory turns into tradeoffs—
and tradeoffs force intentionality.

A bed frame isn’t just comfort—
it’s the first real constraint.

What stays.
What goes.
What matters. taken in Pisgah National Forest by @pile.josh

Camped on a ridge, first test night in the overlanding rigs.

Location: Pisgah Forest Hunting Lands, NC
Conditions: Clear skies, calm winds, ~65 degrees
Vehicles: Silver 1990 Isuzu Trooper, Red 1986 Toyota 4Runner
Notes: Bed frames comfortable, Trooper is "thermally challenged" on long grades. by @pile.josh
