Los Angeles Nomadic Division is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Mohn LAND Grants: Shana Hoehn, Angela Anh Nguyen, Harrison Kinnane Smith, and Adam Thompson.

Mohn LAND Grants were introduced in 2023 as a new and ambitious initiative to invest in emerging Los Angeles artists by providing them with a platform and resources to present site-responsive, transdisciplinary work across Los Angeles County. The grant recipients will present their projects over the course of 2026. Learn more at the artists at the link in our bio.

The program was developed in collaboration with art collectors and philanthropists Pamela and Jarl Mohn.

I’m Scared, my graduate thesis show with @roski_mfa_art @uscroski opens two weeks from today on Thursday, February 5th from 6-9 PM

Supporting my thesis exhibition is a mini group show that will live in my studio towards the back of the gallery. It will also be up for the run of the show through Feb 20.

Harlesden High Street is proud to be presenting a solo presentation by Angela Anh Nguyen at Post-Fair in Los Angeles

Angela Anh Nguyen is a Los Angeles based fiber artist whose work satirizes the mayhem of America’s culture wars. Working primarily in gun-tufted textiles, Nguyen’s art narrates the contemporary relationship Americans share with popular culture—with its subject matters dictating discourse while its existence hardly momentary. Her pieces are a tongue-in-cheek ode to the convoluted rhythm of life, often exaggerated and never serious on the surface.

Angela is a self-taught textile artist and academic. She received a B.A. in Communication from UCLA and an M.A. in Communication from CSULA. She is currently an instructor of Communication at CSULA.

Post-Fair is the pilot edition of an alternative 3-day art fair in LA FROM 20-22nd Feb taken in Santa Monica Main Post Office by @pile_height
